I concur with the above statement.

Having some kind of taste is better than having no taste at all.
It's kind of like how I would rather see someone's house decorated in a way that I might consider "tacky," but done with enthusiasm and consideration, rather than a totally utilitarian and/or mish-mash of bland whatnot picked up for the sheer purpose of "having something to sit on."

yes ha ha. since people invariable ask me "what do you do," i might as well turn it into a commercial. well, ha ha, not like that. it's subtle and disinterested but i do slip them a business card. unbelievable as it might be, eventually people call.
