The one band that really bugs me is............................i guess it would have to be The Brian Jonestown Massacre, not for their music though, which is occasionally excellent.

No doubt was good up to Return of Saturn, but after that they suck.

Throw in the Dave Matthews Band and you've got yourself the sorority-slut, bad music trifecta!

but most annoying out all of these are this falloutdiscovalentine-dumbasses without any sign of soul in their music and in their haircuts

I can't really think of any band I totally hate. I mean, shit like Nickelback is bad music but... eh... I don't know where I'm going with this.

Everyone's close-minded. People are. But when you're that actual person, you assume you're not. I only know one person who's capable of genuinely enjoying any sound, although I'm always impressed with SYG's Herrs Neurotic and Park (in spite of my agreeing with the latter about 0.5% of the time) and their ability to listen to a million things and still be excited.

Oh, and for my vote, the amount Pavement annoy me is entirely disproportionate to how prevalent they are in the world (ie, not very).

I don't think that the two posters you mentioned listen to any sound or are excited by every sound, and I still like both a lot. There's hardly a point being made here, why bother?
