Nowhere is the only thing by them that you need to hear in my opinion... the rest is mostly boring.

Guided by Voices were on fire from about 92 to 96, bee thousand, propellor, alien lanes, tonics & twisted chasers, under the bushes under the stars, vampire on titus, king shit & the golden boys, suitcase.... even the later albums are still pretty decent.
not to mention the plethora of EPs.

tool are bad but not so bad, but alice in chains were just awful.
