Without any sort of evidence that political correctness is enforced by the law, any campaign against political correctness is really just a campaign for a right-wing variant of political correctness which seeks to silence any who would publicly condemn their racist, sexist, homophobic, and xenophobic comments. If you must have it analogized to 1984, the argument for the right to be politically incorrect is the argument for the right to say 2 + 2 = 5 without being corrected.
