haha. the sound was terrible as well, he obviously didn't do a sound check, and he has rearranged all of his songs, so it's not like i could tell what he was playing. i think he did maggie's farm and queen jane approximately but you wouldn't have known it.

I can't. I can go a take my permit classes later this month. But even if I could drive I doubt my parents would let me go alone anyway. They are just way too protective. But according to them, it isn't that they don't trust me, they don't trust everyone else.

Just got back from Aulnoye-Aymeries (small town up in the North of France, not so far from the Belgian border)
The Liars played there (for 6 euros) & their album now seems so tame after what I saw.
Has the singer lost his sanity playing the crazy jester or what? Some performance that was. Had never seen anybody waving & shaking like that. They played at midnight & I got scared of dreaming of him.

Guess next year same time (without the rain hopefully) there will be a new festival. Cheap prices, three scenes including free ones (got to see Bob Log III too but missed les Wampas - one has to make choices).
Type les nuits secrètes to find out more about it next spring.

Going to see Sunburned Hand of the Man and A Hawk and a Hacksaw tonight in Bristol. Then Sunburned again in London on the 27th probably...and then Keiji Haino on the 4th and 5th of September in all likelyhood. Also, later in the year MV/EE and Acid Mothers Temple in Cardiff.

I saw that last year (or was it the year before?). If it's exactly the same, it's amazing. Especially the graphics.

Cool, I think it is the same, but without Chan Marshall who I think was there last year...

She was, but she didn't do anything on the Coral Sea part of the performance, she was just the support and joined Patti and Kevin for the encore.

Where are they playing this time?

Its at the Royal Festival Hall, which is kind of lame, but oh well...
I saw her (and others) doing "Songs of Experience" there last year as well and it was so good, im really looking forward to seeing her perform again :)
