Painting Soldiers, from Brooklyn, New York, have a new record out, "Wet Woods", produced by Lee Ranaldo; currently available at their live shows only.
As for Thurston, there are clues out there which might suggest there's something going on, perhaps some rehearsals at least, with the current line-up of the most recent tour, but with a kind of new moniker. I can't wait for official news in regards to this. |
Finally received my copy of "Eight Trails, One Path" today (or rather I went to pick it up from the post office myself). Loving every minute of it. Well done, Three Lobed Recordings (and everyone involved)!
By the way, if anybody missed out on the vinyl, this compilation is also available in various digital formats at bandcamp for a very reasonable price, or just for streaming if that's your thing: http://threelobed.bandcamp.com/album...rails-one-path |
