If by muslims you mean, perhaps, gays from islamic countries, or gays from islamic countries, or maybe, gays from islamic countries, then probably yes, more than I'd feel the need to.

China has a way bigger population than the states and europe combined, and bent american ( and european) will with this recession much more firmly and imposingly than a few planes through buildings ever could.

according to wiki, you've got approximately 2.3% of China.

face it. the most populous countries in the world are still traditional/religious and light years away from embracing gay culture like europe/the west has

i knew you'd mention that. Just more gays in the closet. A minority in terms of globally predominant sexualities for sure, then again you don't need a particular large number (millions of people-wise) to be a serious threat to your enemies.

yes. and france, russia, china, iran and quite a few others got together recently and agreed to stop using the dollar. the last time this happened was with saddam in iraq. we all know what happened there.

the reason for the USA's position as a superpower is actually all down to it's geographic location. there are economists and others who could explain this properly. so no amount of american values or flag waving or speed or any of that ayn rand shit counts for anything, it's all down to position on the map. what's interesting about america is that it's run by corporations whose will is translated by hired politicians into legal policy. those corporations basically function like a collection of crack addicts with all the cash. they're leading their world into a new century of declining wealth for all but a tiny minority. its basically corporate feudalism. the only positive thing about this situation is that it is at least in its final stages and will eventually end. and one suspects there may be just a few folks across the world with a few greivances they'd like america to pay for once it does.

if what replaces it is another system of exploitation then if a society of people exists on the land called north america that is sufficiently spread between both coasts and in some state of inner functionality it will probably have survival advantages through trade that might enable it to thrive. but this will really only be down to location, not any sort of cultural superiority somehow embedded in the character of those people. there feelings of superiority and scorn for the rest of the world which doesn't speak their language will be the death of them in the end.

the closeted pussies are interesting. they could either channel their closeted rage into aggression and become great warriors, or they could just actually be pussies. too afraid to tell their friends of their gayness, too afraid to fight for it.

ni'k 11.04.2009 01:34 PM

their gayness is the very virture that to them renders the macho posturing of "fighting for it" as stupid and unnecessary

This is the reason why only in part. Because of the continuosly shaping new (economical, therefore political) world order, the fact that the states had natural resources to sustain their economic status for a relatively long amount of time now counts for less than shit because the chinese, indian and brazilian economies increased the demands for those natural/refined resources with voracious apetite, therefore putting more pressure than ever before on the axis that balanced all the other interacting economies globally.

they do lead for now, but it won't be like this much longer. I wouldn't really put the spoltlight for the current economical/political climate only on the states, though, because all global economies play a part in the current situation.

Not sure about this. Any localised economy exists and thrives because of the fluxes emanated by the world economy as such. You simply can't trade product without a mean of expanding, which inevitably will make you reach out for further markets. It might not be apparent at first, but extensive reasearch generally links this to that etc.
