Out of the new TP tracks I've heard, DerMotor is still my favorite simply due to it's cosmic brilliance and length......sure hope this means the new album is soon to be released!

There are a few more long ones to be mixed, but as you can imagine they take forever. One is 20 or so minutes, a suite in five parts.
This one just has a very "hard" start; not out of another piece. I switched from tentacles to sandworms for thematic imagery this time. This is a fun song to play loud.

Formed a Second Wave Goth-Rock band with a friend of mine yesterday. Both of us were itching to play some songs. I haven't produced any music in 3 years. So we just sat together and let the jams run free. We were able to establish two song concepts so far. We'll continue our endeavour whenever we find the time for it. It certainly was a lot of fun.

A 7-minute demo I recently compiled. Still very rough around the edges but I think we're starting to get somewhere with the concept. We're probably going to re-record most of these concepts in the future in order to make them sound more refined. As of now they're just concepts, some assembly required.

Thanks a lot, I consider that high praise. Tuning is D#GDGAD. I was going for post-Jet Set Sonic Youth meets pre-Dark Side Pink Floyd (filtered through my own limitations). I was just thinking I should rerecord and add some spinning gong and infant heartbeat sound effects. Everything I have up at the moment are lo-fi iphone recordings, but I'm just starting to mess with garageband a bit.
