no movies; i've been watching entourage, which is great. netflix wrongly predicted i would give it less than 3 stars but i've been having tons of fun watching it.

ps-- has anyone here seen GAINSBOURG? it's showing locally but i don't know if i wanna go. is it any good? (the movie, not gainsbourg's life, which i think i know enough about)

YES! Me too! My fav Kubrick film. Easy. Peter Sellers and all his characters are gold.



A truly beautiful film. Love Lynch's subtle unique stylings, that will be found on a larger scale in his later films. John Hurt's defining role and along with Hopkins too. I cried.

Out of curiosity -- maybe you know. on the bonus features of the DVD version of Basket Case, Frank tours NY with RA The Rugged Man. Do you know what RA's connection to the film is??

no clue. I watched the bonus thingy and it seemed like RA knew Frank so *shrug*

PS -- RA ended up working on Bad Biology years later.

I havent BECAUSE I never picked up 2. I have 3, but don't want to watch it before 2. But Brain Damage, Basketcase and Frankenhooker are absolutely perfect movies in my book.
