do you know what a circumstatial participle is in ancient greek? (ok, i know i'm clutchin at straws here)

sonicl 11.22.2006 09:21 AM

You may have made an important spelling mistake - I suspect that it's a circumstantial participle you're looking for. Look on page 2 of this and see if it helps. (If it does help, well goddammit I want some positive rep!)

jon boy 11.22.2006 11:07 AM

yes please. i am in favour of legalising and regulating drugs. i dont really take any anymore but have done when i was younger. dont like to see people out of their heads and the damage that drugs do but maybe if they were regulated that wouldnt happen. i think its time for a re think as the 'war on drugs' has been lost.

how long does it take you to get to work?

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 11:10 AM

It's a ten minute walk. Up a slight incline, before you go thinking I've got things easy.

How far do you live from where you work?

sonicl 11.22.2006 11:24 AM

Nine miles. Sigh. I used to cycle to work until I changed jobs, and I guess I could easily do so again, but it takes me a good couple of hours to cool down after exercise and I'd hate the discomfort of that.

Have you ever played golf?

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 11:26 AM

Yes. I tend to be quite good when I begin sports, but with golf it was less so. My putting was OK.

What sport would you like to try?

jon boy 11.22.2006 11:26 AM

just on a pitch and put, never seriously. it seriously took about 20 hits to get the ball down.
