I enjoy Babe everytime I see it.
if they were to make animal farm using the same emthods it could scare a new gneration of children away from totalitarian thinking. |
Babe is an awesome movie! It's so cute haha.
I love that all those people laugh at the guy when he brings Babe to heard the sheep, yet he holds his head high. Bahhhh ram you!! Also, Homeward Bound is good too. |

![]() You mean you haven't seen Klaus Kinski at his best?!? His love/hate relationship with Hertzog was scary. |

Aguirre??? If you haven't seen that one, you really need to... "I am the great traitor. There must be no other. Anyone who even thinks about deserting this mission will be cut up into 198 pieces. Those pieces will be stamped on until what is left can be used only to paint walls. Whoever takes one grain of corn or one drop of water... more than his ration, will be locked up for 155 years. If I, Aguirre, want the birds to drop dead from the trees... then the birds will drop dead from the trees. I am the wrath of god. The earth I pass will see me and tremble. But whoever follows me and the river, will win untold riches. But whoever deserts..." |

some of the acting wasn't so hot... the leads were great of course, it was some of the bit parts, like the crazy/retarded guy who was the nightwatchmen at the hotel, that was just lame. maybe i shouldn't discount it as much because it is an older film, and the acting was different back then, but there are some films that avoid it, like Casablanca, for instance. |
Thinking about it for about 10 seconds, Death Proof is probably the worst film I've ever seen in my life.

no. i just think that guy sucked as an actor. is all.... crispin glover could have killed that role, and then raped it, and then cum all over janet leigh's blouse with it. |
Tropic Thunder. It was pretty funny, Robert Downey Jr. is great.
|

good call! fucking awesome movie. kinski is so badass in his own silent thouughtful way |
"Aguirre des Zorn Gottes" is one of my all time fave films, period. I never ever get bored of watching that.
|
I love the final scene on the raft, with all the little monkeys running around...
The long opening sequence where they are walking up and down the mountain is also great. And, well, so are a lot of other things in-between. |
I liked Kinski's line before they beheaded the guy who wanted to hike back.
"That man is a head taller than me. That may change." And just the idea that these guys are floating down the Amazon in a crappy raft with very little defense and cannibals shooting arrows at them from left to right, and yet they still think they own the place. Anybody else would feel extremely vulnerable, but they think they have conquered all of South America :) |

that role was expanded by orson welles, specifically for dennis weaver the actor, and he was supposed to be neurotic and sexually repressed. crispin glover is a SHIT actor dude. come on. |
At least he has FINALLY realized that he can no longer play the romantic lead. The movie was crap anyway, but remember Hollywood Ending? Are we supposed to believe that Tea Leoni would ever be with him?
|
tea leoni was the best thing about Bad Boys
![]() sexxy if she was my Tia I would totally go incest fuckin' like woody allen ;) |

so you've never read or liked a book by victor hugo? |
never got around to victor hugo
what's he write? I am not a big fiction reader. I like reading for learning, like studying on my own time. |
Movies guys, movies!
Besides, books and movies are different in this respect. With a book, you can imagine the main charactor however you like. With movies like Woody Allen's where he is almost always in them, usually as the lead role, you have to deal with who the person really is. I still like Woody Allen's movies, as long as they are good, but I can respect somebody not liking them for the obvious reasons. |

les miserables (not the musical!), the hunchback of notre dame, the last day of a condemned man, etc. i mean he was super-prolific and wrote a ton of books. he was also a great poet, and a political figure of his time. he was in fact the most celebrated poet of the XIX century-- today we look at other people who were more obscure then but who are more relevant to our time, but in his day, victor hugo was king of cats. he's buried in the panthéon in paris-- the great burial place of national heroes. nevertheless, he used to fondle his granddaughters asses and call them my little something or another. |
