UPDATE:

Way Out Weather - Steve Gunn
Document & Eyewitness 1979-1980 - Wire (yes, this one is a reissue, whatchagonnado).

...and, man oh man, FINALLY:

Bob Dylan & The Band - The Bootleg Series Vol. 11: The Basement Tapes Complete

This is the shit. This is IT. This is a world unto itself. Mr. Lee R. and I will hole ourselves for weeks in our homes diggin' this box set, even though we both have the unofficial release (on the Scorpio label, I believe).

The Soup Nazi 08.28.2014 04:28 PM

There's also been a couple of new live Lou Reed albums released this year, but their procedence seems rather... dubious:

Thinking Of Another Place (on Easy Action)
Winter At The Roxy (Goldfish Records ->)

I'm afraid that, now that he's gone, Lou's discography is starting to bloat up with all these semi-legit live recordings (if they're semi at all).

Holy shit...
I downloaded the A Tree With Roots bootleg set a while ago (4 discs) but this seems to have even more material. Incredible stuff.

Well, there has come last years same kind of releases from Dr. John & Tom Waits & they´re both still alive. Tom Waits even doesn´t like at all any unlegal releases from his material. At least Discogs says one Tom Waits Let them eat vinyl release unofficial.

Anyway I ordered that Hassle in April, just because I like Street Hassle-album a lot and also it comes with blue vinyls.

You and Mr. Lee R. Huh? Hmm. What are you trying to say here Soup Nazi? You ever been in the greatest band of all time by any chance? Maybe as a founding member? Just curious ;)

I have The Stooges' You Don't Want My Name, You Want My Action 4CD set and A Thousand Lights, both on Easy Action and of great historical significance (at least for the Stooges fan... nah, strike that - for every true rock fan, goddammit!). I understand these are not illegal releases and I'm hoping Ig has gotten his share of coins from them, but I've read there have been issues in this regard with EA and Bomp! Don't really know the fine details, though, so I reserve my right to contradict everything I've said with the exception of my opinion on the two titles I mentioned, which are BITCHEN.

Quite unfortunately, no. I was just thinking about what self-described "super Dylan freak" Mr. Lee R. had on his iPod nano, which you can check by scrolling down just a bit on this thread.

By the way, this one's most certainly downloadworthy, just in case you missed it:

Robyn Hitchcock 2014-05-23 Basement, Sydney, Australia - Dylan’s Basement Tapes live at the Basement - aud w/samples

I have double vinyls from Tom Waits & Dr. John released by Let them eat vinyls. Both have only few pictures, not much information (some of it is incorrect). But the most important, music is just great & mostly ok quality. I also have Stooges Gimme Some Skin-vinyl that I think is bootleg. The sound quality in b-side is quite poor.

Today is very hard to say which is bootleg & which is not, I have bought all these vinyls from official record shops.

which Tom Waits album is that? I read there's a rerelease of Rain Dogs in high-fidelity SHM-SACD format. So I assume that's legit otherwise how would they be able to use the original masters?

In other news the new Yob album will be released this week. Should be worth checking out. The one new track on youtube is quite promising.
