I am nothing if not an appreciator of life's bizarre offerings. I'm not sure I'm comfortable having this in common with Adolf, though. |

Uh yeah. I don't share that one. I'm not pure Aryan, so maybe that helps keep me in balance. Of course, the other side of me is fighting Irish. I feel this constant inner struggle between red ale and light lager, a kind of alcoholic battle of light and dark. |
i'm mostly irish and a bit of german and czech.
alcoholic battle...black and tan! damn we don't have any bass so i can't make one. |
Well since we are throwing race into it.
I am indigenous(mom's side), Spanish and French(dad's side). |

Speaking of piss, I don't know why it's so damned hard to find good beer in South Carolina. Fucking prehistoric state alcohol laws, no doubt. You can't buy aldohol in the stores on Sunday. You can buy it in restaurants with your meal. You just can't go get wine or beer to take home for your dinner at home. All the grocery stores, it's all the same. Michelob, Millers. The best you can do is Sam Adams or Sierra Nevada, and even then, none of the good special shit, just the regular pale ale or whatever. Sometimes I can find a couple of decent local brews. There's a Charleston company called Palmetto that makes a nice pale ale, amber, and porter. But damn, I haven't seen anything else. |
There's good American beer? :p
|
no. they all taste like pisswater.
|
Pisswater that gets you toe-up!!!!

man, come to milwaukee. BEER HEAVEN. our baseball team is even called the brewers...what does that say? |

I'm disappointed in you. Yes, if you're talking about the big macro breweries like Coors, Millers, Budweiser, et al. But there are amaziing, amazing tasting microbrewed beers out there, thousands. There's Three Floyds in Indiana, Rogue in Oregon, New Belgium in Colorado, Summit in Minnesota. Much, much more. Many of these are very famous. And no, I don't consider Sierra Nevada or Sam Adams microbrews. They're big old plain beers now just like Millers and Budweiser--though Sierra Nevada does make some very good specialty beers, like their Big Foot and IPA. |

Awkward phases? Umm. I dunno, I don't really follow any trends or anything that are modern. Which is probably a phase within itself. |

Czech? is that for real? |

how much did you snort? |

a good beer doesn't need to be "micro" anything, it just has to be good. i wish more mass-produced beer was as good as, say, warsteiner. the world would be a better place because of it. on that note, the sierra summer fest beer i've been drinking lately is fucking excellent. |
