Did anyone hook up a copy of the Thurston/John Moloney tape? Exchanged some emails with John but everything has gone quiet...

Anyway, I've e-mailed John Moloney in the past with some questions strictly and reasonable related to business. He sometimes just doesn't reply and you just have to live with some doubts, or he does take some time to get back to you. In any case, I received my tape even though the postal service here sucks hairy ass, and I hope you get yours soon. |
Bump.
Plus Instruments' "Februari-April '81" can now be ordered directly from Truus de Groot if you are in the USA: http://www.tikibosko.com/pi/buy.html According to The Guardian, there's a collaborative album by Thurston Moore, Kim Gordon, and Yoko Ono due to be released in September: http://www.guardian.co.uk/artanddesi...ic-youth-video "Early In The Morning" is now out. Wondering if someone bought it in digital format at Chimera Music's website? If so, can you please inform me if they offer the option to purchase it in lossless quality as .FLAC files? I ordered a physical copy from Kung Fu that has just been shipped recently, and thus I suppose it will take a while to arrive, so I might just spend two bucks on the digital thing if it's not just a piece of .MP3 crap 'cause I really want to hear this now. http://chimeramusic.goodbarry.com/mu...in-the-morning |

My copy of Tingle of Casual Danger is not two discs, just one. Does anyone have a two disc copy? |
Quote:
I have the 2 disc version: disc 1 - Sunburned in London, England at Cafe Oto - line-up is Paul Labrecque, John Moloney, Keith Wood and special guests Thurston Moore (reading & guitar), Samara Lubelski - violin, Mary Lattimore - piano, Aaron Mullan & Dave Mies (aka Tall Firs) - guitars. 38 minutes of readings mixed with some white hot psych. disc 2 - Sunburned w/ Byron Coley - in orbit - this one is a hometown gig at feeding tube records featuring moloney, capistran, oshea, schneiderman, wood, pizzoferrato, ted lee(egg, eggs / zebu) jeremy pisani - one side of the was tight boogie psych and the other side was an outer-space synth squad with a juiced up Byron Coley (rock & poetry writer extraordinaire - forced exposure, the wire, spin, arthur, NO WAVE book) reading the poetry of Sun Ra - really amazing trip. this came out as a cassette on feeding tube records but here it is remastered by keith wood for better fidelity. cdr comes in a plastic sleeve with 2 inserts and a sticker. |

Where can we find a copy of this Thurston/Moloney Caught On Tape LP?
|
I bought mine from Feeding Tube on Discogs. But it's limited to 113 copies, so I guess it will be very hard to find a copy.

Mine arrived today. They have some for sale here: http://www.feedingtuberecords.com/Fe...cords/LPs.html |

Okay; taken care of. Hopefully they actually still have some in stock. I might as well pick up a copy here before it starts going for $60 on eBay and $260 on bloody Amazon (remember Mother Groundhog?) Cheers, Stu666. Now, what about this Fractured Sunshine cassette drawn from the same sessions--is it still possible to track down a copy of that? Not that I'm overly fond of cassettes, mind you; still.... |
