I bought a pair of green J. Crew Officers Premium Khakis last night. I love these things. They're as comfortable as a broken in pair of 501s. They've got a button fly. Perfect. I have another one in khaki color.

Noticed that the store was pricing them 10 bucks over the online price, so I told the clerk and he sold it for the online price. Pays to do one's research.

phoenix 05.13.2009 08:02 AM

I hate button flys on mens pants.

greedrex 05.13.2009 08:09 AM

yes; it gets in the way, doesn't it?

phoenix 05.13.2009 08:15 AM

yeh. in the way, and takes too long to do back up :( no win.

gmku 05.13.2009 08:17 AM

God, what a bunch of wimps. "oh, I can't handle buttons."

I bet you're the same people who won't buy LPs because it's too much trouble to get up off the couch and flip the record over.

joe11121 05.13.2009 04:57 PM

Well. I'm going out for dinner at like 9:30. That is all.

jon boy 05.13.2009 04:57 PM

Ha ha. Hey, I bought a Huey Lewis and the News CD. It has a certain quality that's like, well... Hey, why don't you come over and give it a listen with me?

Bra ha ha ha ha.

So... you were obsessed with brand names when you read American Psycho?

In all seriousness, it's just that I've found a store where the quality, style, fit, and price fit me and my income. It's not so outrageously priced that I can't once in a while afford to purchase something, and for the price, the quality and all the rest (style, fit, comfort) are exceptional, I think. Sorry, it's just simply that they do a better job than most other mall brands of making the kinds of clothes I like.

When I find brands I like, I stick with them. I don't think that's obsession.

Antagon 05.16.2009 09:13 AM

2 cans of Red Bull

gmku 05.16.2009 09:14 AM

Today:

Plane ticket
Cable/Internet bill
Car payment
Stage theater ticket
Dinner out (tonight)

Tomorrow:

Groceries

An expensive weekend!

al shabbray 05.16.2009 09:18 AM

expensive but at least the plane ticket sounds promising

gmku 05.16.2009 09:21 AM

Yah, the plane ticket wasn't all that much really, for a Portland-Asheville round trip. Under 200 bucks.

Glad for the stage ticket and dinner, too. Only 10 bucks for the ticket and the restaurant is reasonable. I'm going out for an evening with friends, so I won't be such a lonely guy.

automatic bzooty 05.16.2009 11:22 AM
