And as for tights, I am a fan of the crochet variety
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
I used to wear socks with my boots in the winter, but it was so hard getting the boots on, so I just let my toes freeze to death.
@ploesj: fuck no. People that wear leggings as pants are fucking stupid. @cantank: when I used to wear tights (2-3 years ago) those were the only kind I ever wore. Now I can never find them cause I live in Florida :( |

It's becuz you lil' people have to take more steps to cover more ground, so your calve muscles get more worked, hence making them bigger. |
crochet tights look great, but not an option for me since i have two cats who like to claw my legs and a dog who often places his paws on them.
edit: i'm short and my calves are pretty big too, but that's mainly because i've been riding a bike to school for six years, an hour a day. and some genetics. |
Fall is time for not only boots, but knitwear!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() |
yesss!!! i love how that looks. and i can wear it, as long as none of the wool parts actually touches my skin!
|
I'm a sucker for knitted sweaters and scarves.
My aunt always makes me scarves with wild colors in them... I have a bright green one and a purple and blue one. |

i dont know but round calves > tube calves tube calves were pamela anderson's weak spot imho |
Knitwear is great, so comfy. I want to go shopping in NYC. LA is lame when it comes to fall/winter clothes. Seriously. Lame. I'm assuming Florida is the same way?!
|
i never really feel like buying winter clothes, mostly because its so much wool... and mostly grey or black... so i just wear all my clothes together during the winter.
|
winter means it's time for SNOW BOOTS
![]() and I do not give a shit what anyone says, I love moon boots. |
See, I only have ugg boots for the snow. Similar to these:
![]() We don't get snow here, but I live close enough to be able to drive about 20 mins to the mountains and play in the snow if/when I want... |
it has only snowed here for maybe ten minutes this year. i guess buying snow boots isn't exactly necessary.
|
what is the nicest thing you see in this season's clothes? i like the masculine elements still being there, with a female twist... jackets, shirts with bows or ruffles, vests...
|
I love this season's jackets. I wish I had money.
|
steal some or learn how to sew :D
![]() i just bought this one today, good for the inbetween weather we have here so often. |
the cardigan has made a comeback in men's fashion. I now own two, the slimmer thinner kind in cotton/cashmere blend. One's a little looser, from BR, and a little more casual. The other is slighter trimmer and dressier looking, from J. Crew, one I could conceivably wear under a suit jacket, fer instance. Both are navy.
The thing about either is that you can dress them up or down. Go with a dress shirt and pants, or tee shirt and jeans. They're neat. I now find myself lusting after a navy shawl-collar cardigan. |
I love vintage coats. I get all mine from thrift stores, you don't ever need to spend A LOT of $ on a classic coat.
![]() Also, navy style pea coats are great if done right: ![]() |
Damn, the only coats I've ever found at thrift stores in my size are moth-eaten rags about two decades or more out of style.
|
cardigans are great indeed, i own a few (mostly just basic ones) and wear them as jackets when its not that cold, or to a concert (you can easily stuff them in a handbag)
i have them in grey, blue, brownand black but will probably buy a red one soon. |
Surprised how pricey cardigans can be, though. I'd like more colors, but damn. Anyway, navy goes with a bunch of stuff.

Yes. Navy is a psuedo neutral. You can pretty much do it with anything.
|
we don't have that h&m here, that I know of. I've become real fond of BR lately, fit always seems dead on for me. Means I have to mostly shop the sales racks though.
|
ow too bad. i thought they were kind of everywhere by now :P i love them because hey sell basics for nothing and fun stuff for nothing.
|
I bought some black plainfront dress pants this summer because they were on sale. Trying to figure out if I can wear navy shirts and sweaters with them. Somebody told me navy and black don't go together. Is this true?
|
Quote:
They may be everywhere but I'm in the middle of nowhere. |
Quote:
i dont know, i heard the same thing but i think it looks better than black and brown... |
Yeah, though I don't have a problem with that either. I think it works, if there's enough of a contrast, that is, if the navy isn't too dark. Some navy looks almost black.
|
i dont think there is a problem with black and navy, or black and brown depending on consistency of hue. but, i think black can go (& should go) in moderation with anything and everything.

I LOVE these kinds of jackets, but they never fit right on me cause my boobs are huge :( |
poor you and your huge boobs, skinny waist and chunky calves! haha.
trench style coats that are fitted at the waist are best for us grrls with big tits. cantanky and I have the same problem. |
Quote:
How do you mean? Like not a totally black outfit? |
Quote:
|
Yeah. It's funny how we also have different ideas of what 10 inches is.
|
Not true. It's just my cock folded in half.
|
Glice made me say that.

I can never find a trench-style coat that isn't insanely long or squishes my boobs and makes them look deformed. So most of my coats are way too big for me. I'll take way too long over squished boobs anyday. |

I don't wear all over black, I leave that for the goths and/or emo kids. The closest I come to an all black outfit is black skirt/pants with my black coat, but my shirt will always have some splash of color for contrast. Usually I will pull a color from the shirt to match to my heels/shoes, and maybe purse if applicable. Quote:
I think the definition of 'big boobs' is also dependant on body type/stature/height. A C cup may look like big tits on a 5ft, 90lb waif, but not necessarily on a 5'8" 150lb women. You know?! EDIT: PS- I hate the word 'boobs'. Tits is preferred. Quote:
Do you not watch 'What Not To Wear'? Have you not learned that a tailor can be your best friend?! ;) If you find a coat that fits you in the chest you can have a seamstress sew up the hem of the coat for like $5! You can often find these cheap tailors at dry cleaners... |

![]() and these: ![]() and running around the city all day except i gained 10lbs from eating like a fat pig and they got bigger again  but i think i lost some of it |
