Today, while eating chicken 'n waffles in North Hollyword, Lady Gaga came up to my table and asked to hold my son.

We politely declined as we've all been under the weather. She gave him a cuddle and we had a chuckle over how nice it is to get everything you want, simply by being cute. She added that flirting never hurts either.

Strange days.

Is this another one of yer dreams?

Nefeli 08.20.2013 01:48 PM

had again super great times on holidays; 2nd year in the row at same place and i ll keep going there as long as i can.
one of the things that i love when going there is that i can be one time with some people, the next with others, the following with others and so on and while at it, meeting new people, getting to know better other people, building stronger bonds with other.
floating socially.
being independent and floating socially according to my choosing.

also i detoxed from everything minus booze. meaning from my reality back in the city, from reality in general, freed myself from my usual thoughts.
dunno how long i can keep this state on, but im telling you it is super precious to me.

having severe cold and staying indoors now. will go to the doctors tomorrow.

Thanks - the procedure went well. The Doctor discovered one artery that was 50% blocked, but it's not the cause for her attack or a concern at this time. The Doc believes this attack was brought on by stress and is much different than a anxiety attack. The heart was in heart attack mode, it just never lost blood flow.

Since all was well, I snuck back home for a brief evening with my family, a hot shower and to sleep in my bed. I will be loading up headed back to Houston this morning and will hopefully bring my mom home tomorrow or Saturday.

good. thats relatively, good news..
50% blocked artery alone, wouldnt cause a heart attack, from the little i know on the subject. surely, you mother will be adviced to take medicine for the stress..
my mother takes xanax and even though im not fond on the idea of medicines in general, i have come in terms with taking smth that would prevent you from having nerve breakdown or smth worse.
and you know as people grow old, their thoughts haunt them in stronger and more uncontrolled ways.
best wishes.

In all seriousness, this is when I wish square people were brave enough to smoke pot.

This is very true. Not even old, just older. Even myself in recent years have been wracked with stress in remarkably different ways than when I was younger.

about pot and speaking only from personal experience.
i finally quit several months now, the little i was doing when i was at friends' houses which was in very regular basis, because after the good times, it was making my troubled thoughts, all the thoughts about things that trouble me enhance to unbearable and very painful way. :(
but yeah, i m sure it works well with most people.

floatingslowly 08.23.2013 03:58 PM

  • hope yr mum is better Bytor
  • less pot is good, Nef; however, walking past the billion "health clinics" here in LA often makes my mouth water. sometimes, I think I should have got a California drivers license.
  • there is no social media worth visiting on a regular basis. I have no knowledge of a GAGA message board, although I'm sure one exists, somewhere.
  • Ed is of superior genestock. I can't blame GAGA for asking.
  • Eddie-bear's Aussie passport arrived today. once we sell the car, we're outta here.
  • consolidating CD's / Music / Data
  • posting final packages overseas
  • so looking forward to THE BIG GTFO
  • early Thanksgiving dinner next week
  • trying to do everything we wanted to do in LA.
  • there's a t-shirt I wanted in Little Ethiopia
  • all signs point to a large earthquake in the near future.

Pot doesn't make mental stresses go away, they can help alleviate symptoms. Some kind of meditation and psychological therapy is still necessary, pot doesn't by-pass that, it is meant to work in tandem. If I didn't have fantastic Father Confessor who was trained in psychology, Lord knows how wrecked my head would be by now. Pot helps the symptoms, therapy helps heal the mental wounds and bad coping strategies.

As Bob Marley said, "When you smoke herb, it reveals you to yourself." If you yourself are fractured, harmed, stressed, fatigued, damaged (like most of us), then herb will only deeply reveal this. It doesn't just make bad thoughts go away. You have to put in that leg work yourself. Pot makes the physical symptoms of stress and depression which people take pharmaceuticals for better, psychology and spiritual therapy heals the fractured mind. In fact, that is the fundamental premise of Orthodox Christianity, the Fathers had a unique insight, the human mind is fractured from the feeling heart, and this damage requires a life-time of healing.

Merkato? I wonder what all these Chinese t-shirt sweatshops think of all that Rastafari and Ethiopian t-shirts and hats they be making by the hundreds of thousands. Rastas alone don't account for this market, more like 90,000,000 Ethiopians ;)

Bullshit. Earthquake weather isn't unseasonably cool for several consecutive, bewildering weeks, its unseasonably warm, dense, humid weather with a sudden staleness ;)

For the past weeks here in the "coastal plain", I ain't been sure if its fucking August or March!

Nefeli 08.25.2013 04:25 AM

im at monophonic state.
from the ear that is infected i hear myself.
rather boring.
interesting as well in terms of social behavior.
after 6 days i had to heavily socialize last night and it was tiring.
people cant hear what i say, because i apparently speak not loud.

anyways, i m cool. rather stay in. listening to tons of music, bit drawing along with that.

about pot, agreed. of course.

I know. I'm like, what the fuck is she snorting now? I miss the cool stoner chick Miley who had long hair, wore jeans and converse, and was generally the most tolerable of the cracked celebrity tabloid chicks. Alas now? That Rihanna haircut ONLY WORKS for redbones from the Caribbean, and even then, there are 50 years of controversy about it there

Miley. Stop snorting shit. Go back to smoking pot, it was working for you. Maybe you should hang out with Michael Phelps instead of that Nicki Manaj bullshit you're gettin twisted with..

Yes. Yes you can. Its just a shame. Its like, is this what feminism has birthed, a generation of women whose only power is to exploit their sexuality? IS that what it was supposed to be all about? Sighs. I mean, men, we're assholes, so its understandable. However in the recent years we've given much of the world to women, we just kept most of the money. What is the result? Is it a generation of successful, independent, mature, professional young women? Alas.
