Oh right. I saw the words "commercial success" highlighted in the quote. You're probably right. On second thoughts, it's arguable that it even is a cult since it's accepted as one of the most loved novels in English literature, which would kill off such a "cult status"

That's pretty much my thoughts, and why I didn't consider it cult. Perhaps it's different in other countries.
