Slowdive have the dubious honour unfortunately (ha!) of being the most boring band I've ever seen live, both stage-presence wise and musicwise, Does anyone else here remember the Slowdive interview in Melody Maker, when her then-beau (the Slowdive gtrist/singer) said that the band "use our guitars like clitorial stimulants"? Cue murderous stare from Ms Goswell to her man.

Goswell was the Sam Fox figure for every floppy fringed, suede boot wearing pedal abuser in the early 90s. Alas, unlike Ms Fox, she didn't suddenly transform into a deranged dyke with zero regard for her liver. A shame really.
