Just finished Heinlein's Red Planet. Does anyone remember the animated series based on it that played on Fox in like 1994? The whole time I was reading the book I kept having flashbacks to the cartoon.

I just started reading The Watchmen.

While i do sometimes find Simon Reynolds a bit irritating in his articles, I did think that was a great book.

GUARDS! GUARDS! no i'm ok that's what i was reading. Now what do i read? Island of the blue dolphins? Someone's gotta put these animals back to their right colour. I dunno that kinda seems like a waste of time. Maybe I will read about Africa. Or India.

Also, I just started Les jeux sont faits by Sartre today and also have Venus in Furs by Leopold Von Sacher-Masoch to read soon. And, yes, I have realized that I have books by both the namessakes of Sado-masochism.

A light and enjoyable read.....not that juicy though.

Wow, I thought this was really "over rated." It started off pretty good and then it just got really boring. I was waiting for something awesome to happen and before I knew it, the book ended. Less romance crap and more action would have been nice. I still haven't seen the movie.

Finished Dirk Gently last night. Quality stuff from Adams, as always

Will be starting Hammerhead Ranch Motel by Tim Dorsey and Venus in Furs tonight.
