Getting in touch with people I haven't talked to since elementary school... well, it's interesting to say the least.

I've always found it to be super weird...

Yeah, it's awkward. One or two I've become good friends with... others it's just like "hi... haven't seen you in a long time" and that's like the whole conversation

What's worse is when they meet friends of mine, then I come up in the conversation and they somehow remember me from a decade ago. It's very strange. Needless to say, they add me on Facebook and we never, ever speak.

I just added/was added by a bunch of girls I was in girl scouts with all because one of my friends tagged them in a picture I posted. um, awkward.

All you can really do is honour his memory. If talking to him makes you feel better, then it's a good thing. I'm not sure if he can hear you or not. But if I'm right, then I'm sure he's there for you, and always will be.
