Thanks Melly :D

Screaming Skull, I like the last one. He has such a great facial expression. The elephant hat is also way cool haha.

cool. i recently got an older canon EOS which runs on film. developing it is expensive :o

EMMAh 08.20.2008 04:25 PM

Yeah, it really is.

Buy prepaid film, you'll usually save money that way. That's if you always go to the same place for developing.

yeah the fucked up thing is that no one does it here in holland, so the only shop that does it sends the film to Belgium for development. it costs like 7 euros for developing it and making the photos. damn.

i got to mess around with my dad's new, digital canon EOS. it really owns.

look at these mean lookin' mother-fuckers.

EMMAh 08.20.2008 05:18 PM

They're not mean looking, they're cute. I wonder why the one is tagged.

That's pretty crappy that film is such a pain in the ass for you. It is on it's way out though, give it enough time it there will probably be none left :(

yeah, they are really cute, these ones are huge-they look like eagles rather than seagulls. they pick through my thrash and its annoying.

theyre all tagged i think. i was sitting in the harbour and eating fries with some people and like 20 seaguls came and i fed them all the fries :o

yeah film is dying. i just like it because you dont see every single pixel in the pictures that you make.

EMMAh 08.20.2008 05:34 PM

Eagle sized seagulls?? That's pretty big.

I like feeding the birds. At my old school seagulls used to be all over the place. Some kid pelted one in the head with a rock and like knocked it out of the sky. I didn't see it happen thankfully.

If you have the right camera for what you're doing, and at least semi know what you're doing you shouldn't be able to see pixels.

jakeonguitar 08.21.2008 12:33 AM

thanks for the rep and comments.

and just to add, my point was never to take a "cool" photograph or anything... it was simply to depict something people often don't take a good look at, especially while driving. their thoughts tend to always be "ew gross" and not actually confront what's actually there: a dead animal body, thanks to a less-careful/inattentive driver. i think that's a nice goal of mine... namely, to present things/people/etc. in a new angle that makes people wonder, "why didn't i ever get a good look at this before?"

anyways. back to shooting stuff...
