I've spent the past two days with my mom at St. Luke's in Houston. Main reason for hospitialjzation is extremely high white blood cell count. Last Monday, her level was 32,000. Yesterday, it was 43.900. Leukemia, lymphoma and lung cancer were the terms being used. However, due to her white cells being so high, parasites are now being considered. More test are scheduled for today/tomorrow.

Tonight, I'm taking some time for myself to go see, LOW.

Thanks guys......she underwent a bronchoscopy yesterday and biopsied her lungs and lymph nodes in her chest. Pending results will determine next course of action. I hated leaving her, but with no scheduled procedures for the next few days, I needed to return home to help gear up for Valentines week.

I was disappointed with myself I planned to go to the huge Lunar New Year festival here in LA suburb of Rosemead (there is a HUUUUGE Vietnamese and Chinese population there, they close of several main streets)..

I was also totally surprised, i was literally at my Vietnamese friend's house and his family always celebrated Lunar New Year and this year they didn't even mention it and we were all just sitting around drinking beer watching boring game on the tube!
