Losing my brother to the army
 

He had his interview today and passed, so now he waits till June then he goes away till December then hes off again for 4 or what ever yrs. :( this sucks, my little brother going to army for yrs

Oh that sucks. My brother sign up for the army. We were all sad. But if it is his decision, you should just hope for the best.

its so shit, i dont know why he wants to do it, he isnt even 18, i wont get to see him turn 18 or any age for the next 4 yrs i think. he has never been patriotic about his country i dont know where he gets it from

Dude, my brother saw the Army as his only way out. And looking at it subjectively it was. Was it the right decision I think not. But Your brother is joining the Army for some motive he has. Don't stress to much about it. He will be fine. Maybe he just wants to experience life, make some new friends. I mean when you join an army you have so much different experience.

My sister (to specify my little sister, some of you may know I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters) is joining the airforce. I'm gonna miss her. She's my closest sibling age-wise to me. She had some problems about a year ago but she's been doing so much better and now she's leaving.

Dude, I guess you are really close to him. My brother has seen crap in Iraq, and yet he has signed up again, why because he likes it. My brother always has had an interest in it. Maybe your brother has an interest in it. Don't worry about the comment.

i have 2 brothers and 3 sisters also, him being my youngest brother and my closest sibling, he is actually my only full blooded sibling, he is too young

you know, sometimes I think military service might be a suitable way to restart my life, but I really don't think I could do it. My little sister and Alien Anal's little brother are brave souls.

but i dont understand where any of this interest in the army comes from, i think its because he wants to become bigger and stronger. He is really competative and into his working out and shit so i think he just wants to be a tough man and do tough man shit like the army.

Well there it is, he is joining the Army, because he likes all the physical things they do.

yeh aussie army, he does his training for so many months then comes back in december for holidays, then he goes back and i think goes to indonesia for the whole peace keeping shit, then he has his holidays, does what ever and then might be going to iraq i think.

there is always a chance he won't like it..
