Fake Can be Just as Good
I am listening to this album, and it is great. Any opinions on them.
|
First I'd heard from them...It's good.
There's a song that the riff sounds exactly like the riff in 'Cross The Breeze. |
I saw them a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't heard any of their shit but I had heard a lot of good things about them so I decided to go (the venue is also very close to my house). They were awesome. I also bought the new album after the show (I should have gotten the vinyl version since you get a free mp3 download of the album) and each of them signed it. They were extremely nice people and they put on an amazing show. I wish I could have seen them at Coachella a few days later but I only went on Friday and they were playing on Sarurday.

I quite love them. I remember back in the days, when SLR had no italian distribution and I had to pay 36.000 lire to get their cds... 36.000 lire = roughly 19 Euros, and that was A LOT OF MONEY for the time...

That album is lovely. My favourite by Blonde Redhead.
|
I love them very much. I have recently decided that my favorite of theirs is "Melody of...Lemons."
|
I have no idea what you're talking aboutm explain.

No, I refuse.

Great great fucking album, vern rumsey from unwound played bass for them on this one. My sister caught their show last night in nyc, the oldest songs they played were off of misery is a butterfly except for In Particular. A damn shame.

I like Misery is a Butterfly best. 23 isn't that good. Definately a great band.
|
23 is just alrite , i think. Melody of..Lemons is my fav. But i really do like this band.

23 is pretty good.....I really like the title track, but as a whole it just seems to "dreamy" for them. |
my favorite blonde redhead album!
|
23 has AMAZINGLY written songs and a really interesting production, but just half of the album is good, the rest is quite "forgettable", in a sense.
I saw them a few years ago in a great (back then) italian festival, they played A LOT of songs more than the ones on their setlist because me and a bunch of friends kept screaming (well, screaming is not the most appropriate words, considering we were not SHOUTING too much or with a rude tone) songs' titles, and water wasn't on the setlist, we started "choiring" "waahhaahter---wahhhaaaater" they looked at each other smiling, messed a bit with the effects' settings and started playing it...one of the best "gig moments"of my life. Ah, to be young and happy. |
