Yes, a completely selfish and shallow thread dedicated entirely to my hair. Inspired by luxinterior, but a result of my total inability to judge aesthetics.

Should I get bangs?

Current hair, sans bangs, with unintentional wind-blown part, partial 'fro, and hag-like expression:



Hair of old, with bangs, and an oddly large-looking nose:



Note: I cannot alter my facial structure, nor can I change the fundamental shit quality of my hair (it is rather coarse and uncooperative), so please keep this in mind when giving suggestions, as I'm sure you are all clamoring to do.

So, coming from a person who has recently had both bangs and not bangs, I have to say that I personally find "not bangs" more satisfying, unless you want the sort of bangs that are really thick and that start somewhere near the middle of your head. Those kind are good too, because it's hard to get those messed up. Thin, straight-across bangs really suck, because they are always getting messed up easily. I am glad I don't have those anymore. So really it's a question of your forehead temperature. Is it cold? Then go with bangs. Is it warm? Then stay with what you have. Either way looks very good on you, and plus you've got the best pair of eyebrows I've ever seen.

i like the second picture more, but as a picture of you. seems that haircut works on you.

Go for the first style, maybe with a bit shorter hairs on the back of the head. Dunno how to explain that better. !@#$%! , this is not the "fuck with my face" thread ;) !!

I prefer you with slightly longer hair like on the first one, but the second picture is sweet too.

i have a fringe or bangs as you american's call them??? and its not good to have in the summer, forehead gets too hot.

Sure with bangs, or fringe as anyone with any sense would say, you always have the option of sweeping it aside and pinning it in place if your forehead is too hot.
