Are you a whore?
A long time ago, I was naive and thought there were a great many things to do for money. When I was 18 I thought I could donate sperm 2-3 times a week for 40 dollars a sample. I chickened out after giving a sample to be frozen (to see if it survives the freezing process.) For a few reasons:
1. I had to write an essay about myself for prospective parents to read to decide if they want my sperm or not. That freaked me out. 2. The environment was odd. The lack of spontaneity and guilt in masturbation freaked me out. 3. The thought of having little Julians that I didn't know about didn't initially freak me out, but the more I thought about it, the more I did. What wouldn't you do for good money? Or are you a whore and have no limits? |
pimpin ain't easy
|
I would maybe model lingerie, but I couldn't stand the idea of my father seeing the photos...
|
I imagine a bikini would seem less suggestive...
|
I definately would not strip, or be involved with any mindless pornography. Tasteful/artistic... Well, I never thought of it.
|
My whoreness factor is zilch, I don't see why I would need to do anything dodgy for money, there's always other options.

I was paid money to play '80s hits on New Year's Eve, so yeah, I guess I'm the definition of a whore.
I did a final set of "Kool Thing" into "Love Buzz" into "White Boy" by Bikini Kill into "People That Died" by Jim Carroll but that certainly doesn't atone for all the Madonna, Prince, Jacko, and Cyndi Lauper up to that point. I even enjoyed it. I'm that rare kind of whore. |

As you were 7 years old at the end and non-existent at the beginning, you might have a somewhat rosier picture than somebody who actually remembers those days, eh? Which isn't to say there wasn't some awesome music in the '80s, but Glenn Miller doesn't represent the best of the '40s either. |
I remember my childhood.

I wouldn't work for money.
|
stripping, yes.
nude, bikini, or lingerie modelling, yes. whoring, no. however i have no problem with people who choose to make a living that way, nor do i have a problem with pornography. it exploits men, not women. |

^^^Good point^^^ The minute you work for money, you become a whore. We are all prostitutes. Let's not forget that. pros·ti·tute n. 1. One who solicits and accepts payment for sex acts. 2. One who sells one's abilities, talent, or name for an unworthy purpose. tr.v. pros·ti·tut·ed, pros·ti·tut·ing, pros·ti·tutes 1. To offer (oneself or another) for sexual hire. 2. To sell (oneself or one's talent, for example) for an unworthy purpose. |

I think that "keep on living" is a quite worthy purpose to work for, actually, and in most cases that's the reason people have to work for. That said, on the other hand, many companies human beings have to work for for a living are not worthy. |

I read "nude biking" and laughed. |
I really want to, but I always fear that I might have to service a relative.
|
I think prostitutes are worthy of a place in society, and they contribute more than we would want to acknowledge.
