Not worth the effort. Radiohead tickets are always expensive and the show is always crowded.

oh?? well maybe it's a sign that they are in fact shite and you should spend your money on something else???

Just a theory.

No I wasn't talking about the point that it took a certain time to buy Mars Volta ticket, I was talking about you said Radiohead are shit. imo Mars Volta sucks much more than Radiohead

yeah, i got that. All i was saying is that maybe the universe is trying to tell him something, and by those same rules the universe has made it very easy for me to get Mars Volta tickets.

and they don't suck, you suck, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha :p

I always thought that's Carl Cox, the Techno producer, on your Mars Volta picture on the far right, screamingskull. And I was like, what the hell is HE doing there?

gmku 04.09.2008 09:33 AM

I hear ya, SuchFriendsetc... It's why I long ago gave up trying to go to big gigs. I prefer small venues, regional good bands, where there's room to walk around and even sidle up to a bar now and then. Big concerts are, well, too big... too many people, too expensive, too hard to get into, and generally, too hyped. Not fun. I'd rather spend the money on the albums. At least that way you have something more lasting, and for far less coin.

floatingslowly 04.09.2008 09:35 AM

let me see if I got this right....you are PAYING MONEY to watch radiohead perform IN RAINBOWS??

oh, the humanity.

I like the universe, I've asked it to give me an answer that will finally clear all the speculation about who's more terrible between The Mars Volta and Radiohead and this is the answer that I got in return: ''Oh man, they're both shite''.:)

i have no idea who Carl Cox is??

It's Jeremy Ward, De Facto/The Mars Volta member/founder. Cousin to Jim Ward of At The Drive-In/Sparta.

he passed away in 2003. RIP.

so that black dude and that white dude are cousins?

holy different strokes, batman.

SuchFriendsAreDangerous 04.09.2008 09:46 AM

its like the damned beatles had rose from the dead or some shit, fucking bastards, it sold out, and I had been trying all fucking morning just to get the damned website to load up, stupid crowed server. well, I take my chances at the ticket master box office on saturday, and if not, then radiohead can just well and truly fuck off, though my sister will be massively dissappointed if so, it is supposed to be her present for graduation....

I never get these tickets, every fucking year same ol nonsense, it is becoming clear to be that it is not the Will of God that I attend such a show, for I began this very thread and every breath of my life in giving God the glory and all the praise, in saying by the grace of God, hence if it is not a success, it is not in God's grace, and eternity is more fullfilling then radiohead anyways, after all, most of you seem to think them terrible to begin with, though I cant for the life of me figure that one out...
