Not into it.
I would probably have a little more exciting social life if I were, I suppose.
Being around very drunk people is only as entertaining as it theoretically should be about 25 percent of the time.

Alcohol leavin’ me dry
Now it is time for pie
Takin’ them as they come
Alcohol please give me some

If I stay in the same place
The animals will lick my face
Soak in the dawn of day
Rollin’ my body away

Alcohol leavin’ me dry
Now it is time for pie
Takin’ them as they come
Alcohol please give me some

i like a cold beer on a summer day but i'm not that fussed any other time. I think it comes from living out in the sticks and having to drive anywhere that my friends are drinking.

johnnywinternoshow 06.06.2006 05:50 PM

Thirty-five dollars and a six pack to my name

Gives me an excuse to wear hooker boots and resort entirely to visually lecherous communication tactics.

How can you say that when you're not even old enough to drink?

Bloody kids these days. In my day it was all steaks, cider and teenage abortions. Now, they're bloody vegans with mortgages. I blame Thatcher...

Hip Priest 06.06.2006 06:45 PM

Didn't someone once sing, All You Need Is Vodka? It's not quite true, because you need crisps aswell, but you get the idea.

Jinro, vodka, beer (PROPER beer), cider (mmm), white wine, bit of gin, rum, malt whiskey (Old Poultenay - yes) etc etc etc. That's what we have in our house. Not all together, though you could, no harm in mixing drinks really.

johnnywinternoshow 06.06.2006 06:52 PM

if i'm drinking it's one of these

hey fishmonkey is bulmers the same as magners? They've got the same packaging but in the north they don't seem to sell bulmers

johnnywinternoshow 06.06.2006 06:58 PM

Poitín is fucking deadly stuff, ever tried it Fishmonkey? The most drunk I've ever seen my dad is when he and his friend finished off 2 bottles of homemade poitin one afternoon a few years ago

fishmonkey 06.06.2006 07:14 PM

yeah Johnny, its the very same, just a different packaging, the first time i ever got drunk when i was a wee lad, like most irish boys do, i robbed poitin with the help of my friend from my dad (all parents in Ireland had a stash of poitin somewhere in the house back then for when the kids just wont shut up) so we decied to camp out that night, mixed it with a little orange juice got completly skuttered and started causeing havoc on the road, never got caught for it and started a beautiful relationship with alcohol from that day forward.
