I Hate Ipods
 

my computer just froze and i lost ALL my songs on my ipod because it was plugged in. I was only using the damn thing to hold the files while aI got a new computer. All my new music, gone,

no cd's or vinyl...

obviously but not as many as mp3's. im depressed.

ummm, listen to a cd or record then to cheer you up

oh well, one presumes it was all downloaded illegally anyway. easy come easy go.

^ lol. But yeah iPods piss me off too. I mean, I sent mine through the wash, and it stopped working so I had to buy a new one. I mean what shitty little device can't handle a little bit of soapy, bubbly, water? My new one has been good to me so far, I've only had it since February/March though. When I first purchased my old iPod it took me forever to get it going. I was so confused at setting it up. It was quite pathetic. Then once I finally got a few songs on, I sync, leave, come back, plug it in again, 0 songs. AH! Long, boring story, but true, I have the hang of the iPod now though.

My girlfriend accidentally killed her laptop yesterday WHILST DOWNLOADING ILLEGALLY on soulseek, losing everything (including some epic essay about Neville Chamberlain that wasn't backed up). Pwned. I pay for all my rekkidz.

heheh, for my luck my mp3 player full of illegal crap works perfectly.. I've got to say I need new earphones. the other day I was listening to 'the beatles' on my audio system and it was awesome.. the drums were just inside my head and the other instruments around, like if I was in the same room. with my ipod earphones I just get a thick wall of noise. I just need some good headphones and I'll rule. :P

ok, well, apparently the files are still there but they are "corrupted", but i can still see them under the ipod section of my documents, but they are listed as "hidden", anyone know if there us a way too uh, unhide this shit.

this helps but i still dont know how to get those hidden files back to normal on my ipod. ill bring it to an apple store or something, im not giving up

delete the stuff off the ipod and put the new unhidden files back onto the ipod

I like my iPod, and I don't get why so many people seem to hate them (except batreleaser, he has an excuse). The thing that annoys me with mine is the play count - sometimes it won't update, and I like to see how many times I've listened to something; for example, I listened to Absolutego three times, but it doesn't show that in the play count. But that probably isn't important.

Not probably... It isn't important at all. I liked my ipod but it only lasted four years. I just use my nokia now and i don't have to carry two things.
