who/what keeps u posting? why do u keep coming back for more? do u feel 'dependant' on this board?



i tend to get my fix while at work. sometimes i get on in the evening if im at home and not partaking in one of my many other addictions. what's ur excuse?

...I can quit whenever I want. I just don't want to, that's all...

I could definitely spend more of my life on this board, but I usually don't unless I'm drunk. 10 posts a day isn't a lot, is it?

Once I'm on a board, I feel the need to check out the new posts... EVERY MINUTE ! Well, since I'm new to the SYG, I'm not really addicted yet, but I think I will.

I used to be far more addicted than I am now, but a few posters keep me coming back for amusement and aesthetic assistance.

y'all are interesting and/or entertaining. much moreso than people on the few other message boards i've been on...

also syg has the highest concentration of people who say "yr" in the universe.

I agree. I admitted I had a problem a couple weeks back, and tried to stop posting and just lurked a little bit, in fact I didn't post anything for like two weeks straight.. but then my job cut my hours..

all my friends work or got wifey and kids and bullshit..
my sister who I live with has been hanging out with her friends a lot more lately..
basically I've been on a bit of a lonely tip and I think y'all in SYG land have been keeping me good company, and I also thank y'all for it :)

i do it because i am actually a sociology student doing a thesis on artificial intellgicence interacting with human intelligence.
so floatz and zom bot are basically gonna pay for my grad school.

Every once in 4 months someone, generally the same handful of posters, will post something interesting and insightful about ''stuff''. I'm certainly not as addicted to it as I used to be, or read as many threads as I used to. I don't know if it's even possible for this forum to be all that good. Last time I've checked the non-sonic sounds it was poorly stocked with new threads compared to the overwhelming majority of nothingness that fights for space on the non-sonics section. Maybe that's telling us something.

I tend to get drowned in the deep blue background and then something compells me to check what's up. Etc.

Also, the pic used in the first post of this thread scares me to the fucking max. Seriously. Kegmama used it as an avatar a while ago and it was already that scary for me. I can't explain it.

the internet. Nothing is really quite as entertaining as this board....not to mention other boards are filled with stupid people.....
