Mark E Smith mentioned him in his memoir from the other year, he described an incident when they were both in Edinburgh doing the Kurious Orange ballet, and the pair of them went off to a local during the break in a rehearsal or something, and Bowery went in full costume to the bar to get a round, next to all these factory workers who were looking at him as if he was a creature from outer space. Indeed, cool as fuck.

a make up artist told my sister that when he worked with kate moss they had to make new skin for her using a wire mesh and special effects make up because she is so haggard nowadays
