WTF dude, are Godspeed reuniting or what ?
|
|
Unbelievable.
|
yes and Bardo Pond, Deerhoof, The Ex and Mike Watt will be there. i'm not going to rush into buying tickets for this mainly because i can't afford it right now but i would like to go.
|
brilliant
|
sounds good. i don't know how my budget will be drained after the summer Korea/Japan combo, but it might be nice to go there
|
Man, this looks hugely fucking tempting. Will have to see how money is after Primavera...
|
tickets booked!
looks like a group of 21 people is coming from the Netherlands! |
The latest line-up additions are:
NEUROSIS THE DEAD C BLACK DICE FRANCISCO LOPEZ |
i never thought i'd see francisco lopez at atp. the dead c and bardo pond is enough to keep me happy for the whole weekend.
|
I'm going to do my best to able to afford ATP this year. Too many festivals between now and then, though. Not sure if I'll be able to afford it.
|
I might be there. I might. That Black Dice addition got me raging like mad
|

Oh fuck. Now I am really not sure I can take the sane financial route of not going... |
sigh.

see you there then? :D |
Hmmm. It'll come down to money. God, so torn.
|
I honestly had no idea that GY-exclamation-mark-somewhere-in-here-BE had broken up for all these years (not kidding). I surely hadn't missed them.
Thought I'd be able to skip this year, but now that The Dead C have been announced I'll probably have to go, unless they're playing in Holland as well (I think they were planning a european tour this year?)... but even then I'd still want to go to both shows, plus the inevitable London gig before/after. |
some more additions:
WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM MARISSA NADLER GROWING RANGDA (featuring Richard Bishop, Ben Chasny, Chris Corsano) Rangda and WITTR are nice, but already touring before ATP anyway. I'm hoping for more exclusive stuff like The Dead C and Bardo Pond. GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR / NEUROSIS / BARDO POND / THE EX / DEERHOOF / THE DEAD C / BLACK DICE / FRANCISCO LOPEZ / TIM HECKER / MIKE WATT / SCOUT NIBLETT / WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM / MARISSA NADLER / GROWING / RANGDA Anyone know if these GY-exclamation-mark-somewhere-BE-people like hip-hop or doom? |
it's getting better and better
EDIT: how come i've never heard of Rangda before they sound too good to be true. |

not so fast, not so fast. he might kill stu and bury him under his house. |
I've long suspected my mother was posting here, but I have to say I was surprised to learn that she was posting as _slavo_

on that day, they are not playing in Tivoli, but in Ekko (300 people) with Wolf eyes |

Go to your room, Anthony! |

Hmmm, I knew that, but somehow didn't notice when I pasted those dates. By the way, the Hasselt date is with Keiji Haino! |
A couple of friends of mine who are pretty massive fans of gy!be are possibly going, which means I might have to consider joining their group. Personally, gybe doesn't move me in any way, as I've never really bothered to hear them, but Bardo Pond and Dead C are the kind of stuff I probably should try to see at least once in my lifetime.
One thing that's a bummer with festival like this is the fact that it's already sold out by the time I know if I'm able to go. |

too funny you two. You two guys have a great relationship in here have you ever met one another face to face? |
no,
i'd most likely piss in his tea if I met him (keyword: Keeping It Simple) |
It's not yet announced on the ATP site, but Emeralds are playing this too:
