Hey, I dig anchovies on pizza too, Rob. Quite a few people I know aren't a fan of them at all, but me likey them v much.

I also love chatting about music, films and culture (especially in the 60's and 70's) - I can be a real pub bore about that.

chatting about music film and culture is GREAT pub talk! much better than what I hear in bars here in the USA which is cars, how to get "pussy" on the side, and where people bought their fucking clothes.

Rob - Car talk is pretty meh, football/soccer talk bores the crap out of me, and as for finding "pussy" - Jesus....(finding "ass" talk in gay bars is equally as bad, though).

I also love the sound of babies/little toddlers making "trying to have a conversation" sounds - it's very sweet indeed.
I'm sure this has been said already, but I do love this place when it the great posts come flying thick and fast from all and sundry - we could sure show people a bit about wit and wisdom here :D

Paulybee - Being relatively unknowledgable about the humble motor, any car talk I find immediately baffling, hence the meh-ness from me. As for football talk, I'm probably just jealous because Crystal Palace never seem to get anywhere these days, being stuck as they are somewhere in the Championship at the moment.
