Badmouthing each other's bands is but expressing your opinions about them when prompted is not.I haven't watched the video and i wont click on that either as i don't have time for either Mike Patton or Wolfmother(whose music i'm only vaguely familiar with but it doesn't cut it for me).

i'm not much of a fan of patton either, but i can sympathise with him in that video clip. he's being interviewed back stage at a festival when suddenly the sound of some ridiculous lepzep pastiche starts blasting from nearby.
at least patton is trying to take things forward, which is more than can be said for wolfmother.

i sw wolfmother at arthurfest 2 years, ago nit much too really rememeber as i dont remember a bit of it at all,jenn says she remebers but i dont , all i remeber was tht ty were on the mainstage, but yeah not much to rmemebr and the radio song wo,an isn't too much to think over

I wish more Australian bands ripped-off Black Sabbath, Wolfmother sounds like Supertramp to me.

Also not all Australian bands rip-off the mentioned bands, I think we have a lot of great bands but too small a population for them to get anywhere. Grey Daturas get 5 times more people at their San Francisco shows than their Sydney shows.

Well, first off, I don't take any other substances than Cannabis, but surely you know what I was trying get across. SY fans that are also Tool fans for example. There are tons of SY fans that hate Tool, but there's a ton of SY fans that love Tool, that's my point. that is a great quote from an ignorant australian, i'm guessing maybe 20yrs old, born after the shameful pokie boom and with no knowledge what so ever of his / her country's rich musical heritage. lets start at say percy grainger, infact lets finish at percy grainger and let someone find out for themselves about the musical heritage in australia from sources other than video hits. and hey townsville is a tiny backwash of a town, and the heat really affects the locals abilities to process anything outside of queensland.
