Пятхъдесят Шест 02.24.2007 09:14 PM

Da, robochie!

Пятхъдесят Шест 02.24.2007 09:17 PM

A local wall. A good wall.

Пятхъдесят Шест 02.24.2007 09:28 PM

There are apartments on the other side of that wall.

And then a park, a park with walls.

I wasn't incredibly impressed by this place.

Пятхъдесят Шест 02.24.2007 09:33 PM

The free water was welcomed.

You're right though, for all the build up you get from seeing the ads along the way, you expect more. It was boring, but they had excellent popcorn.

Your cryptic typing is even better when it's complimenting me!

Patty, are you gonna be obliging us with the obligatory necessary photo?

Glice 02.25.2007 03:52 PM

Atari, can I just say I'm enjoying your run of fine-art signatures? I was going to comment previously, but I got caught up in a thread about shoelaces, or toffee or some other vacuous bollocks.

Rauschenberg
Spanish Stuffed Mode Plus, cardboard on wall

Glice 02.25.2007 03:56 PM

I've written about Rauschenberg before, but never actually seen his art 'in the flesh', as it were. Tragic, really.

atari 2600 02.25.2007 03:59 PM

In some of his works, he includes "found" elements/quasi-readymades that are suspended from the wall comprising an addition to the composition. He discovered a few devices (besides this one) for further emphasizing the flatness of the picture plane.

This topic inspired me to switch my sig again.

There's a bit on the building of it in Rivers & Tides.

Norma J 02.25.2007 05:39 PM

I've got some really cool pics of chalk drawings that are like this 'Banksy' character (which stuff looks really cool). They're amazing. Though, they're on the ground not the wall.

Green_mind 02.25.2007 05:54 PM

why would anyone want to make a stone wall shaped like a sine wave ripping through a wood?

cuetzpalin 02.25.2007 05:55 PM

jon boy 02.26.2007 03:59 AM
