Are you an indie rock snob?
I am.
I always feel really uneasy talking to people who like music that I think sucks. |
Me too. I don't care. I am right.
|
absolutely.
your avatar really makes me want a meatball sandwich danny. just not from subway. |
I'm into Guerilla advertising right now, and since I have a job pending at subway I thought I'd go for it. Meatball sandwiches are my favorite sandwiches.
|
Subway sandwiches are the WORST. Tell them from me if you get the job.
|
What!?
I take personal offence. What events lead you to make such a pessimistic remark? |
I don't know, I find happiness in knowing other people are just into it, y'know like anything goes. If some one is happy listening to some music I don't like, it doesn't bother me.
I definately wouldn't think any less of them, unless they back it up with something else. |
subway (and most chain restaurants as far as i'm concerned) is gross. their sandwiches are always all soggy and they've somehow conned people into thinking they're good for you. didn't they have a huge hepatitis breakout awhile back?

I used to work at Subway. The Meatball was definitely their best sandwich. I gained about 10 or 20 pounds working there though. Because I was the only one on duty- all I did was make myself sandwiches and eat chips. |

The restaurants are all actually privately owned so the quality differs from outlet to outlet. The weight-loss sandwiches are on a separate menu from the other, cool, fattier sandwiches. Hepatitis outbreak? That said, the cheese steak sandwiches sold at the bold street outlet in Liverpool smell like ass and taste awful. |
The new paasword is working fine.Soggy sandwhiches?I don't remember that.
|
So you're 'back' now?
|
Yeah.Happy?

the quality differs from restaurant to restaurant, ranging from shitty to shittier to shittiest. a couple of years ago a bunch of people got hepatitis from eating there because some dumbass "sandwich artists" weren't wearing their gloves or washing their hands. i'm sooooo thinking hayden. |

Blasphemy. I don't care how sandwiches are made in Saint Louis, or how the subway name is disgraced, because I shall never set foot there. Hayden has given many diseases to many people. |
Seems healthy and safe at my local subways. A working class fravourite.

in today's episode, we have discovered that not only is she an indie rock snob, she is a sandwich snob as well. |

Unless Hayden is an even more precocious and promiscuous little fuck than I think he is, I don't know that even his diseased seed could have spread so far. Much to my chagrin, he lives in Minnesota. |
How odd that this thread turned out to be about sandwiches.
|
and it's all my fault, as per usual.
|
You're not looking for some sort of comfort there are you?
I must remind you that I am a cold, cold sucka. |

Yeah right.

that would have been the last thing to cross my mind if you'd like to know.
|
Whatever. I'm going to bed now.
|
I am ultimately sad in thinking this is entertainment?
|
fuck all this- i work at quiznos.
Dbl meat mutha fucka! (i actuaslly hate that dbl meat shit) |
Subways is awful. They always smell really odd. The only Subway I ever ate was a meatball one and it was ok but really tiny and expensive. If you live in the UK at least there is an abundance of decent sandwich shops pretty much everywhere. Example: today I got, for just £2.60, a mug of tea, a ham, cheese and tomato sandwich and undoubtedly the best piece of fruit cake I have ever eaten.
|
I use to eat at Spuds takeaways, when I lived in London.
Baked potato with a sauce of choice. I wonder if they still exist. |

what the fuck is this "indie rock" you speak of? and it is acceptable to speak of blondie in such company? -- after reading the rest of the thread, i actually prefer the discussion of diseased sandwiches. did hayden spit into them? i often did similar in my brief stint as a waiter (2 whole months, at the end of which i was fired for kicking the ass of a tray-carrying actor who pissed me off.). but yes. diseases. how is your liver these days? |
blondie? since when is blondie in this conversation?
atomic is a really good song to dance to. i will leave it at that. |
dont know about "indie rock"
but i am a snob when it comes to music |
I would have to say that I am. I'm overprotective of my music with 99.999% of the peolple I know.

Jersey Mike's pwns Subway and Quiznos.
JM's giant vegan subs are masterpieces of sandwich art. |

since i brought it up. besides nothing "indie" nor "rock" about their deliciously enjoyable, shamelessly commercial pop. which i can't get enough of. |
blondie records make me like the backpack from dora the explorer.
yumyumyumyumyum! delicioso! |

I used to be... then I came to the conclusion that 99% of the world listens to stuff that I think sucks ass hard (and I'm sure a large percent think that my tastes suck ass as well). after that, I figured that I would add a few years to my life by not caring. apathy is a lot easier on the blood pressure than disdain. |
