REALLY wanna go to this. A couple of my friends were keen too. However, one of them is a pov student and the other in a crappy ass wage job. Shame cos that's the kinda line up atp would have done at some point.

Crappy ass wage job? As in, non-salary? Anyway, how does that prevent him from going to a concert? Can’t get time off? Tickets too much?

I would totally fucking go to this.

Even though the line-up is indeed awesome, I don't think I will be going. But I do highly recommend Oiseaux-Tempete !!! For those that are going, go see them.

so I got full festival pass yesterday.

I will be bringing my Zoom recorder with me (would love to record Sarah Davachi´s set big time), if there will be chance I will record Haino´s set, but can not promise it.

12 hrs. drone artists are something I want to explore till festival comes, coz I do not know any of them and I have been enjoying interesting drone stuff lately.

12h drone fest features Jessica Moss who's a member of Silver Mt Zion (and wife of Efrim of also Silver Mt Zion but Godspeed You Black Emperor too).

Yes, best to stay at home and see nothing at all than be faced with the anxiety of a tough decision.

HAHA! yeah I know it sounds stupid, but there's more to it, like acts play only a short set at these festivals. And also my ears are no longer able to cope with a night or even a full day of loud music unfortunately

So what I do is try to see them while they are not playing this festival. For instance I'm heavily considering to see Jerusalem & Oiseaux Tempete when they play in Brussels a couple days later

I can understand that. Festivals can be costly and that money is often better spent on gig tickets.

Fucking strong line-up. It looks as if I'll probably be going to this.

A year has passed and the initial line-up and the curators for this year's Guess Who? festival has been announced!

I don't know almost any of these.
I was 80$ sure that I'd go this year, but now I'm not so sure anymore.

But indeed the line-up so far appears to be less impressive than last year.


FACS is 3/4 of Disappears (minus the bass player), and their new album is pretty good. Wouldn't mind at all seeing them live. But for the rest I don't really care so much, besides Breeders and Lydia Lunch.

According to https://www.allmusic.com/album/negat...s-mw0003149342, they're now 2/4 of Disappears. So I guess they added another guy to keep it a trio or summat.

me (+my wife) and greenlight would wanna go somewhere, tho I'm not so sure about LGW this year...

there used to be also the Incubate festival in Tilburg, which I would have highly recommended. Unfortunately it has been cancelled because they had a major budget cut problems. That's too bad, didn't know about it until now when I googled about the lineup for this year ...
