are you addicted?
yes / no
specify |
i'm addicted to coffee. and drummers
|
I think my one addiction used to be buying records.
And it was an addiction, it often made no sense, I had to buy records. Which is why I ended up with so many odd records: ones I really shouldn't have bought. I know this is a common addiction, and I'm sure many people on here recognise what I'm talking about. EDIT: probably just coffee for me now. It's cheaper at least. |
btw how much does random cd cost in usa? i know that if i had enough money, buying cds would be a drug for me. but 10 dollars for one cd is pretty much

10$ for a CD is not that bad, how much CZK is 1USD? For example 1USD is around 25 SKK here, which makes one CD cost about 250-300 SKK when I buy it online from the USA. Compared that one CD costs around 650-750 SKK in a regular shop here, it's fucking awesome. Been buying a lot of CDs in the internet recently. |
By the way, I'm addicted to many little things I don't really want to talk about. But they shape and influence me.
|
yeah that's ok. i never thought about buying cdc online.. 1usd is about 20czk here i think

and that's just what this thread is about:cool: |
cds are about 30$ here

 wtf?? |
30$ australian dollars that is......
|
The price of CDs in the UK is such that it's generally cheaper to buy them from the US and pay postage than it is to go to a store in the local town and buy them over the counter.
|
.....that's much, isn't it?
|
well i dunno..30$ for a cd is pretty normal as far as i know..

True, although downloading has forced record shops to lower their prices, so that for the first time in a long while, I'm not averse to going into my local record shop and buying a CD. £10 isn't an unusual price to pay these days, which is cheaper than when CDs first appeared here. |
yes, shaved your legs yet?
|
Nothing particularly exotic like heroin or cocaine. Just buying records and drinking coffee. And I like good beer a lot.
I suspect I might also be addicted to laziness. I find the lazier I let myself become, the more attractive I find laziness. |
reading about the batman begins sequel The Dark Knight
|
I think I'm addicted to chocolate breakfast cereals. Damn, that shit is good!
|
I'm addicted to you, and you know it.
|
i'm a compulsive shopper.
|
Cigarettes and coffee. But I'm planning on quiting at least one of those.
Then again I would be addicted to CDs...if I had enough money to spare. This is Argentina, man. But anyway, I'm addicted to music too. Whatever I'm doing, like this right now, or working or whatever I have to listen to music I like. That's why I hate TV so much. |
i recently cut sugar caffeine and even a number of grains from my diet & i lost a bit of weight.
however, im addicted to procrastination... anything i can do to avoid work. well, not really. im just having a hard time writing something. |
Cigarettes and Coffee.

music too, but that goes without saying.
|
no. i don't care about anything enough to be addicted to it....except maybe the internet.
|
Cigarettes and coffee are the obvious physical ones for myself but also:
Seeing at least one good show a month Never saving my money Buying records |
I was addicted to my black berry,
but it fell out of my pocket and basically slinkied down the subway stairs only to smash into a hundread pieces. so i erm...broke that addiction. also, a homeless man had the nerve to pick up my faceplate and quickly shuffle away with it. the bastard. |
cigs, diet coke, gum, noise and walking.
|
love
... that's not true ): |
Coffee and music
|
I voted no but some people seem to be mentioning things that are probably more like habits than addictions. I have plenty of habits I just wouldn't say I was genuinely addicted to anything.
|
I almost got addicted to cigarettes until I switched to smoking pipe and rolled loose tobacco.
|
my habit is making lists and looking at stupid stuff on the internet.
|
caffeine
buying records |
I'm addicted to poor financial decisions-- such as buying flea market quality speakers out of the back of a truck for $200 when i'm saving for a car-- and buying pot- that last part maybe related, but not so much. I'm actually working a sober period right now to prep my head to move out and on./
