Where would you like music to move to?
Hang on a sec, poll is on the way.
coventry.
Littlehampton
EDIT - Sod it, Jon Boy got there first. |
out there maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan
i say forward and out there.
Sideways
Having thought about it a bit more, I'd like it move just a little bit to the right, as it's blocking my view at the moment.
it's been going out there for a few years, now it's time to go forward again.
so the opposite of out there is in here?
if so, I vote in here... it's cold outside |

Chose that one aat random though. |
You are made up of random thoughts, no need to explain.
Yes.
Out there and forwards at the same time and then back a bit to the left.
Space is the place to go!
So i voted for out there, politically to the left. |
Naturally you'd expect music to evolve, which implies forward movement. However, it seems incapable of doing anything apart from swilling around in it's own stagnant effluent at the moment.
A radical change is needed, along the lines of the extinction of the dinosaurs in 1976. So my vote is 'out there' |
It needs to move to Stratford. Decent rents at the moment and if it can afford to buy, house prices are gonna rocket after the olympics.
Stratford gets most of the raves too!!
And you can get some Chav-tastic jewelry bargains in the shopping centre on a saturday morning.
everything needs to be more like scissor shock.
OUT THERE
Where's the indie-choice?

Probably 'nowhere maan' :) |
Probably...
Nobody chose " Right". Why ? |
Charlotte, NC.
I reckon spectralism. Although the threat of lower-case improv is very strong. And don't even get me started on Ongaku. Perhaps some sort of Fado/ Happy Hardcore crossover? That'd be nice.
On second thoughts I'd like it to move backwards to caveman times and we can all just beat on a tree trunk with a stick or hit rocks together.

i like that idea. |
Might I recommend to Messrs Iain and J. Boy that they check out the work of THF drenching who, on the Limescale recordings I've heard, seems to spend a great deal of time hitting bricks together?
[NB I may have confused THF Drenching with Sonic Pleasure - one of them plays dictophones, most successfully I might add] |
Our animal nature taught us that we're disorganized creatures that still haven't learned to get on with one another, so only a mixture of our tensions and high technology can create truly interesting music. Rock music is only interesting when it shows our irrational side, for as long as it's all kept within the musical sphere.
Backwards so we can move forwards again and make it out there

Yes you may. And thank you kind sir. If we did as I suggested then we woould have more records that sounded like Orgasm by Cromagnon which is, of course, a good thing. |
