Seeing as summer will soon be upon us, it brings to mind balmy nights with friends and lovers, and the magic extra ingredient for good times here is booze. So boardies, what drink would you recommend to enjoy those hot summer days and nights with?

Pimms and lemonade, with ice and half the fruit counter from your local greengrocer.

Gin, tonic, ice, a slice.

Gin and tonic, with a slice of lime, maybe a drop of elderflower oil and two ice cubes.

Tip: If you freeze some slices of lime you don't need the icebergs floating in the glass.

Same thing I drink all year: Beer or Whiskey.

For beer I generally prefer Leine's Honey Weiss or Amstel Light.

For whiskey I usually drink Wild Turkey, Southern Comfort, or Windsor.

Durring summer I might drink a vodka and cranberry juice or something fruity like that but I'm generally not drinking outside or during the day so it's not a big deal.

whoa, that right there is my greatest summer favorite-- i had never heard of elderflower oil but it sounds intriguing.

since you mentioned frozen lime, here's another good one: make tonic cubes in advance so that as the cubes melt your drink doesn't water down. works amazingly well.

Dude, SoCo is awesome and it's cheap. Windsor is bomb-ass Canadian whiskey.

it's well not everybody likes it, it has anise and licorice & its yellow & mixed with iced water turns milky white-- good eye!

it's made in france, and of course the french are all a bunch of perverts, so no wonder i love their country is so awesome.

so, this pastis is a very refreshing drink, but if you hate licorice, just stick to the cum :D
