Haha yeah, fits the lyrics for sure. Expecially the smashing pumpkins bits. By the way, the song sounds awful.

being a pretty hardened pumpkins fan in the past i think its fucking awful. Just that first bit is the black parade and it make my stomach churn. I'm really, really worried about the coming album now.... but then corgans always managed to offend me and you know - im even a fan of his solo album, well half of it.... but then theres that and making something that makes me puke when i hear it. I'm worried, but will reserve judgement as its not nearly enough of a sample to do so.

I think it sounds a little thin, although that will be partly due to playing it on computer speakers... It just didn't sound quite like the pumpkins. Not beefy enough. Although that was a very short section of the song, its hard to judge it really...

Now lets remember that this is a lead single, lead singles are usually one of the best songs on the album. Makes ya think, eh?

not necessarily, lead singles are the ones that are the most marketable

also i read a lot of people who think it sounds like my chemical romance, and i just think, "ummm, where do you think my chemical romance got their sound from originally?"

His solo album had some very good songs on it, better then most of the Smashing Pumpkins songs if you ask me.

Origionally, no, but now yes. When I joined this board I was a pumpkins fan. I prefer to see it as no pumpkins (as get rid of them).

The Smashing Pumpkins usually use the same formula in their songs and are quite predictable. Their music is in fact terrible but Billy Corgan always finds a way to make the SM look cool and hip.

Im glad they have gone back to being Smashing Pumpkins as opposed to 'The' Smashing Pumpkins. Its a good sign. What would make me incredably happy now is if in true Pumpkins style that James Iha denial was a joke and they reveal the original lineup at the gig in paris. One can dream I suppose.
