Well, Falwell's the guy, of course, who started the whole Moral Majority bullshit that facilitated a breakdown of the separation of church and state in America. His organization was instrumental in procuring the votes from the churchmongers based on the abortion issue to establish Reagan's Daydream Nation. Unfortunately, we still live with the spectre of that legacy today as politicians still cater to these humanoids because of the importance of their voting bloc. And, unfortunately, Falwell's ministry will, no doubt, continue and his successor has already been laid out in his will. If not, then Lynchburg would be in chaos right now as these fuckers killed each other for the power; and you just know they'd be doing the killings in the name of the Lord, no less.

Good riddance! I personally hope he's suffering in hell. I believe each of us goes to his or her own hell. Jerry's hell will be playing the lead role in a neverending gay porn movie.

i think a lot of american critics misunderstood this movie and cast it as the sexual fantasies of an old man (kubrick). that was a sad, terrible misinterpretation in my view. of course this was based on a novel from the 1920's, and of course a lot has happened since then. but to me this was about a naive fool getting in way over his head in a world he does not understand-- and this includes parts of his wife's psyche he's too stupid to know in the first place. a brilliant movie that was critically underrated. their loss.

i'm planning a big kubrick fest in my bedroom, eyes wide shot will be screened.

all i know about Jerry is what i've seen on that film The people Vs Larry Flint

It was a satirical article in Hustler about the Republican pigs. Fed up by the bullshit of Reagan's America, Flynt put up a reward for dirt leading to the exposure of hypocrisy in Congress, political corruption and/or scandal.

On Larry King tonight, a clip was shown of a past appearance on his program of Falwell and Flynt. The soundbyte had Falwell saying that it was "wrong that Oliver Stone deifies a smut peddler with his film."
Well, I knew that Milos Forman directed The People Vs. Larry Flynt, but I thought maybe Stone had written the screenplay since he has written quite a few. I look it up on imdb to check it out. Sure enough, Falwell, just as I suspected, was wrong. These idiots cannot speak extemporaneously for more than five minutes without putting their foot in their mouth; they are complete bumpkin morons.

The two Republican guests Larry had on also each made factual mistatements of their own.
