you'd be surprised, but a lot of good people get turned off by shit like that. i know first hand of a handful of great board members who have fled over the years due to out-of-hand trolling activity.

this is just a summer lull, people take off and what not. happens every year. but in part i think it has to do with people who get tired of the stupid fights & disappear, so what you're looking at is not just the disappearance of blatherbabas but also the civilian casualties.

Posters like truncated, Cantanky, Laila or even Hayden at his cuntish best made work more bearable and less boring, back in the day. Like lost children of the internet night, they insulted and fought a fight made mainly of posts that were the fruit of broken homes and too many pills. Cantanky reawakened my love for Courtney Love single-handedly by making references to her on a daily basis. Then again, life goes on and bills have to be paid.
