I'm listening to Pavlov's Daughter right now - good song. I find I really like some of her music, but some songs really bug me (not sure what they're called so can't give examples).

samson is kinda boring and ordinary she's got a couple songs like that but most of her stuff preety cool chemo limo sounds amazing and scary when yr high

I love her. Since I first saw her. But I will admit I like her more rough/basic/old/live stuff better than the more produced stuff on 'Begin To Hope'. But even the Begin To Hope songs grew on me after a while (and sound better live).

I liked her previous records, the new one sounds commercial and flat.

Doesnt any one have Regina sheet music?

i didnt say she was diverse. i said sonic youth fans were diverse and my piont was how all you people listen to a lot of differnt music and i was iritated that no one had responded to the post yet. and yes she is very diverse and interresting so screw u <3

I like her. In the female singer-songwriter section that is crammed full of the hopeless, she seems like a welcome change. She's not so doom and gloom (not that there's anything wrong with that) as others. Nor is she ridiculously annoying, like Sandi Thom, or any of the other populars of our day.

When I first heard "Fidelity" I thought, 'yikes', because of the little glottal stop she makes when singing 'heart'. But I got over that. So far, "Ode to divorce" is my favorite track of hers.

I'm listening right now, but I don't like it cuz I'm not diverse. Im gonna switch it to something more ordinary like supertramp or xiu xiu or anaal nathrakh or mother love bone or ani difranco.

Seriously. What is a good song? I will listen, cuz from what I've heard I don't get the big deal. Sounds like starbucks music to me.

Regina S. and Amy W. are both hot... but at the same time their musical output bores me.

At least Regina's voice doesn't make me want to die, even if it is bland.

Amy tries way too fucking hard to sound soulful. I'll just stick with Billie or Etta or Nina or even Carole King for christ's sake.

I was watching Amy Winehouse's rehab video, and that was really awful so awful. Oh I have no opinion on Regina Spektor.

amy winehouse has been a jazz vocalist for a while, and her new album is more torch songs and soul stuff.

Regina. It's a shame, only her name sounds like a vagina. Diamanda Galas, however, is surely the sound of a vagina. Or perhaps Karen Carpenter. Hmm. I'll need to think about this one. Amuse yourselves as I do so.

The tattoos are perhaps the most unappealing thing about her, besides the ridiculous amount of eye makeup she wears.
