I'm going to go ahead and assume you're using this with a guitar.

I've used the Memory Man fairly extensively with guitar/bass as well as running keyboards/synths and general noise fuckery through it, and it has treated me well. It's a nice little unit and absolutely worth the asking price.

finding nobody 06.18.2007 02:31 PM

Yeah, my bad. It is guitar effects
Forgot to say: Im not looking to spend more then 250$
Looking for something crazy to expand the sounds of my guitar amp

The Boss Flanger pedal is fantastic.

Danny Himself 06.18.2007 05:15 PM

I got my MXR Blue Box working again the other day!

Maybe you should get one of those.

Savage Clone 06.18.2007 05:30 PM

I voted that...it's a great versatile pedal.

The delay is a short slapback type, but it comes in handy sometimes.

finding nobody 06.19.2007 02:04 AM

Got me a PolyChorus. Good deal too

CHOUT 06.19.2007 02:16 AM

Congrats...the thing can play itself also, if you didn't know.

Self oscillation can be fun, like a synth outta control...watch your speakers though when you crank up the feedback knob.

CHOUT 06.19.2007 02:19 AM

I posted a Poly Chorus demo on this page, among other pedals.

CHOUT 06.19.2007 02:24 AM

BTW, I used the Polychorus (self-oscillation) on Max and I's cover of Screaming Skull for that SY tribute thingy.

By now you can probably tell I'm a big fan of dem shits.

finding nobody 06.19.2007 02:31 AM

Right on! Thanks to everyone for the advice
The demo sounds incredibly tweaked out and great

king_buzzo 06.19.2007 03:33 AM

whats yer other pedals? it might not work great if its in a wrong combo.

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 06.19.2007 10:56 AM

Ive got a few danelectro pedals.

king_buzzo 06.19.2007 10:59 AM

Hmm they tend to work best with Big Muffs, when you boost one with a big muff, it sounds craazy and awesome.

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 06.19.2007 11:02 AM

I usually only use the octave distortion or the delay. Most of my pedals are fucked up.

king_buzzo 06.19.2007 11:07 AM

get a big muff first. Do it!

_DK 06.19.2007 11:16 AM

If you're buying Boss/Roland/Ibanez pedals, buy vintage Japanese, don't spend the money on the remakes...

Not really. Don't be so hostile.

I have a great japanese Boss phase shifter and its one of the best phasers on the market. I just can't find any use for it.

Trasher02 06.19.2007 12:19 PM

Get this I'm saving up to buy one of these.

I was thinking about it.Myabe that and a boss distortion.

king_buzzo 06.19.2007 12:30 PM

no, a big muff and a blue box.

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 06.19.2007 12:41 PM

how is the big muff?Is the distortion good?

king_buzzo 06.19.2007 12:44 PM

if you want distortion get the russian one, its slightly less muddy/heavier than the usa one, not as fuzzy as well. But it needs to be boosted by something for soloing if you entend to do that. It just doesn't feedback like a motherfucker but its loud as hell. I wanna get another big muff and it gonna be the russian (thought about getting a vintage one off ebay, but i have a lot of things i need buy and i wouldnt have enough money anyways...

Sheriff Rhys Chatham 06.19.2007 12:56 PM

cool. Yeah I;m looking for something to give me a thick heavey sound.

king_buzzo 06.19.2007 12:58 PM

Ohh then you'd be fine with the USA one.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 06.19.2007 10:51 PM

Memory Man or Frequency Analyzer.

king_buzzo 06.20.2007 02:10 AM
