Everyone looks really bored.

...eh...I couldn't tell, then.. I was up in the front row, not caring about what everyone else thought. I though AC were great. but yeah...a lot of them look bored. But what about the guy in the panda mask! he likes him some Panda Bear.

almost as awesome as the collective. in my top 3 live show (along with sonic youth and a toss between slint and mono... prob mono because the music exploding my head was like a drug)

I saw them at SXSW and was surprised how much I loved them. My only regret was that I was not stoned at the time. Still they are much better live than on record. I don't understand why people prefer Sung Tongs to Feels. Maybe I need to go further back to get it all.

All I've heard by them is Feels and I don't like it.
Bet Coachella was fun though.

I dunno which one i like beter actually. feels n tongs. both are really good and have really different vibes going on. it;s really hard to say.

I want to get Sung Tongs...all I have is Feels and Prospect Hummer. I wanted to go buy it today but couldn't get a ride to the store.

yea, sung tongs is the only i haven';t bought yet. I have here comes the indian on vinyl which is cool and cheaper ^_^

The weather that day was pretty good actually. I didn't think it was too hot. The second day was hell though.

Yeah mono's amazing. I'd love to see them live, I've only seen video's though. They really get into it after a while

That was the same with me, I just started work 3 weeks ago and I'm getting paid tomorrow, so I'm getting a few albums and saving the rest for a mixer and Record player :).

No I couldn't go to both. Being 15 I was at the mercy of my dad. But I was really happy about going to Coachella both days, so that was really nice. I don't get to go to many concerts, so I was really excited to do anything at all, especially something as big as this.

I saw animal collective a few weeks ago. My god they kicked ass. All the new stuff sounds pretty dark. There is a show from Atlanta that's up on www.archive.org if you freaks want to check it out. Pretty good quality too.

i got tired of it by the third time i played it.

my favorite right now is prospect hummer.

I only have Feels and I haven't heard any of their other stuff. I really like the first few tracks, and then the whole album slows down. I'm more into the stuff that you can jump around to.

go see them live if you're into the faster stuff. They play the slow stuff too, but it took me seeing those songs live to appreciate them. Get sung tongs, listen to We Tigers, and then go listen to their live version of We Tigers. It'll scare the shit out of you. (and that's a good thing)

they did, i was euphoric the entire night. I don't like listening to their albums though, it's gets boring on record. But live the sound is much more powerful, it just doesn't even come compare to the live experience.

It's almost the same with animal collective. When I saw them it was before feels, or even prospect hummer, and all I had heard was sung tongs. Going from that really trippy acoustic album to thick yet sharp attack of loud noisey guitars that proved to be live feels songs was intense. Most of the time I was trying to figure out what song I was hearing to no avail... except we tigers which was really fun to see live. I don't know if it was the venue or AC, but it would get so loud sometimes that everything would just be a moment of white wash sound, but in the good way I'm sure you all understand. They said since it was the last night of their tour they went extra wild during show. More than once deaken just started flail dancing all over the place. I was in love thaty night. AC< mission accomplished.

I still love Sung Tongs. Feels is good though. It is still growing on me.

I bought Feels last summer on vinyl. I think it has a summer vibe. I'm totally unfamiliar with Tongs, tho. I keep looking for it to show up in the vinyl bins.

I don't have the money! Norevinyl. And the fact that I don't have any vinyl/couldn't find any easily is very discouraging.

I still want to buy a drum set more than a turntable, and all the money I get goes straight to saving for a set.
