Thanks a lot to you and everyone else for the well-wishes and sentiments expressed in this thread and by email. Formulating (let alone in English) how I feel about parenthood is probably impossible, but this post comes pretty close (posted by Johnny 13 in the very interesting thread at http://www.electrical.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12568):
