Should I drink the absinthe or should I wait for the pot?

note that the vodka realy is awful. it tastes like what I can only imagine gasoline does.

absinthe doesnt give me distortions ( but then I've never had REALLY strong absinthe. ) It just makes me drunk in the body more than in the head. I guess it has always been more enjoyable with other people around though. :(

I want to try it, no not really alcohol or cigarrettes are not my thing. But I don't care if you drink or smoke, I am not those preachy types.

I don't care if anyone drinks or smokes either, but I used to know people who thought that getting drunk or high was an essential part of any evening out, and they weren't good people to go out with regularly.

really? I mean... I prefer the taste of certain spirits far more than say beer or white wines. Red wines however... a nice merlot yummy. Or good cab sav..

spirits wise I like them white not brown. you know... gin.. vodka.. white rum.. tequila but only at the start of the night. cant finish on it. or I'd die in my own puke.

oh but jagermeister is brown.. I dunno. I dont really like the taste of jager but its just that it makes me get crazy. I think all the times I've been drunk on that I made out with my old housemate.


when out I order:

gin and cranberry (80% of the time)
gin and tonic
vodka and cranberry(order second when out because I can stand bad gin before I can stand bad vodka)
tequila and red grapefuit over ice with a few broken mint leaves.. ( no idea if its a drink.. I chose my ingredients one night when they didnt have what I wanted, and it turned out okay. so to me its a polar panda.)
shots of jagermeister, or a jagerbomb(though this is a rare thing for me to have when out because they are ridiculously priced)
shots of charteuse

I really dont get it, ive drunk tonnes of absinthe, some really fucking strong stuff from greece too and it doenst do anything. It has this reputation as this hardcore drink but I've never felt it. On the otherhand 3 triples of Whiskey and im done for. Whiskey has a far worse effect on me.

there arent many options though. I buy vegetarian cheese. But you cant get good parmesan, or brie, without animal rennett. Not where I am at least.

ive never noticed a difference. When I used to go out with my friends, we would always have a few shots of absinthe before we went out.

I guess it depends on the person. I know a guy who can drink shit loads of beer and ale and it not even touch the sides, one or two pints of cider and all hell breaks loose.

fuck it. drink everclear instead!!!!! straight!!!!!!!!! .... no, i dunno. alcohol is silly . it's such a waste of time and you feel like shit the next day. i'll just drink robo. cheap ($6), tastier than alcohol (except kaluha or boone's farm, but you can't get drunk off of it), you TRIP (way better buzz, and you can remember it!), safer, etc... robo!!! honestly, we should all LIVE robo'd. you have no desire to have sex, no desire to eat, and you don't have to travel because you can just travel in your mind. of course, i'm exaggerating, but damn. robo!!!!!!!!!!!

robo is slang for cough syrup where the only ingredient is dextromethorphan (don't get any cough syrup with ANY OTHER ingredients but that one).

people say it's a white trash drug, but i think they're thinking of meth. robo is like acid... you trip... the cough syrup also has alcohol in it, though, so you get kinda drunk... you feel like you're floating in the clouds.. it's amazing. the only problem is there's a 50 trip limit. the magic goes away more and more every year. it's still fun though. i used to drink and was like "hmph." i smoked weed and thought it was okay. then, i robo'd and everything was okay. anyone that has followed my reccomendations and went down the robo path has found it to be quite pleasant. robo!!! look it up on the net. just type in "robo tripping".

oh, and i'd like to add that i rarely drink and i never smoke weed now. though i do enjoy codeine if i can get it. codeine and robo are the only things i do.
