I Miss Having a Girlfriend...

I haven't made out with a chick in a long time. I miss that, also feeling them. That is all.

Everyneurotic 09.07.2007 12:13 AM

by the way, in continuation of the introduce yourself thread.

Cantankerous 09.07.2007 12:19 AM

we're not that special. us girls are put up on pedestals and while typically we are more aesthetically pleasing and smell better, we are also a huge pain in the ass. choose your battles.

davenotdead 09.07.2007 12:27 AM

well said...but now i dont know whether i should like you more or less

cryptowonderdruginvogue 09.07.2007 12:29 AM

Cantankerous 09.07.2007 12:30 AM

being female has its advantages
- pretty clothes
- nice perfume (men's cologne is, in my opinion, one of the foulest smells known to man. i like soap smell.)
- people fawning over you (not always good but it has its benifits, like using your looks to get past bouncers etc)
- if you're small people treat you with care as though you might be fragile (this can become EXTREMELY tiring though.)
- you can be manipulative without being percieved as sleazy

sometimes i don't want the attention and i just want to be a manipulative bitch.

cryptowonderdruginvogue 09.07.2007 12:44 AM

i don't really understand why girls like guys
if i was a girl, i'd date other girls

I've been trying to get my head around that for YEARS. But, obviously, rather glad they do.

oh you all do have something to offer whether you like it or not. girls are catty bitches around each other and boys put up with our shit. i prefer being in the company of men.
well i have nothing better to do but go to bed
or watch lebowski
i might do that
either way it will involve pajamas and blankets and pillows and a snack

demonrail666 09.07.2007 01:13 AM

That's funny how that happens. I have a number of female friends that prefer male company. I'm the same only t'other way round, prefering female company over men. And not just for the obvious reasons, just sort of prefer them.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 09.07.2007 01:18 AM

The only friends who I have any desire to talk to anymore are my female friends.

i really enjoy spending time with girls, about half of my friends are female, but i'm content not to have a girlfriend.

Traitor!

Not only you publicly cheat on me with that old perv, but now girls are entering the equation too! You're worse than Nympho Lucy! Slut!

Green_mind 09.07.2007 08:04 AM

Lucky bugger, the large majority of my friends are guys. I think if more of my friends were female, I wouldn't spend as much time on here as I do now.

atsonicpark 09.07.2007 10:05 AM

girls are one of those things that you miss when you don't have them, but you're probably better off -- or at least, you have more money -- without them.

true, very true.

although some girls have offer some advantages that compensate being pains in the ass.

most of my friends used to be girls and they were pretty much the only ones i really talked to, rather than bullshit with the guys, but lately my friends have either immersed themselves in work or immersed themselves in boyfriends.

screamingskull 09.07.2007 10:26 AM

WOOO HOOOO!

Everyneurotic 09.07.2007 10:27 AM

yeah, you cracked me up with that comment.

for the record, i do miss having a girlfriend too...well, not "a" girlfriend like in anyone could do but...

Yeah. After I have a girlfriend for a month or two by which point it is over, I'm always dumbfounded by how much fucking money I spent on them in that short time.

And I always dive into music afterwards (realizing I hadn't spent as much time on it) and wish I would have spent the money on gear.

the ikara cult 09.07.2007 11:08 AM

My two female friends up and moved. The cooler one moved back to California, the other one to Cincinatti.

Oh don't worry, i still love you. If I ever go to the UK I will look you up.

macrodollar 09.10.2007 04:45 PM

I must say I am very jealous of the choice of clothes girls have. I always feel so plain. Most of my friends used to be girls too and I thought guys were a bit shallow in comparison, though I am starting to see it the other way....
I get the feeling this year will balance that out however.

gmku 09.10.2007 04:58 PM

For as long as I can remember, I've been jealous of the options girls have--from the hair to the freedom to flirt without reprisal. Isn't that part of sexuality? We want what we don't have, can't be?

Amen to that.

Washing Machine 09.10.2007 07:47 PM

I have plenty of choice in clothes, its all black but i suppose choice is what you make it

luxinterior 09.10.2007 08:06 PM

Black isn't a bad color for clothing. It's a very good color. Except when it's done sloppily.

I try to avoid wearing white, red, orange, and purple. I prefer black, blue, green, and grey. Yellow isn't too bad but I can only think of one yellow top that I own. I like gold.

It's not the worst thing in the world to go Dutch.

For the most part, I dislike being paid for. It makes me think I'm on a date, and that's not going to happen. Also, what am I, some helpless little woman? I have a job for godssake and I can handle it myself.

Ysee, sometimes you can be out with somebody and they can give that impression, but then if you were to suggest going Dutch Dutch Dutch Dutch we worry what you might think. If its worth a little bit of money to show we care then it is, even if we dont have much. But then as ive said before in this thread; Women *tuts*

sarramkrop 09.10.2007 08:48 PM

I do feel odd sometimes,. The oddest people make me feel odd. Blah blah, loneliness etc.
